Re: MLB thread
Ugh. Braves vs. Astros.
No matter who wins, we all lose.

Re: MLB thread
Htown feel free to be upset at me, but I'd rather the Braves win than the Astros.
There wasn't a single player punished for a team-wide cheating scandal, you got off easy on that one. Cheaters shouldn't be rewarded. The worst part is you didn't even need to cheat - the squad is talented regardless.

I’ve said it before and I’m going to keep saying it,other teams were cheating,Astros just got caught. Carlos Beltran brought the cheating with him from the Yankees. “TAMPA — After Carlos Beltran denied to The Post last year he was even aware of a center-field camera — let alone illegal sign-stealing — in Houston in 2017, a new report has emerged claiming that Beltran not only knew of the illegal scheme, but was a key figure in orchestrating and maintaining it throughout the season. According to a report Tuesday in The Athletic, Beltran was the ringleader when it came to the scheme and ignored the protests of some coaches and teammates. Beltran joined the Astros before the 2017 season after spending the previous three years with the Yankees. According to The Athletic, when Beltran got to Houston, he told the organization its sign-stealing methods were “behind the times.” And even when other players — including former Yankees teammate Brian McCann — advised Beltran to put a stop to the cheating, Beltran refused, the report claims. “He disregarded it and steamrolled everybody,” one of the team members alleged. “Where do you go if you’re a young, impressionable player with the Astros and this guy says, ‘We’re doing this’? What do you do?” It’s going to take an amazing comeback for them now,I don’t think they are going to pull it out so all you guys will be happy. I frickin love Jose Altuve, amazing how good he is and dude’s practically a midget, and you can believe what you want but I don’t believe he would have willingly went along with it. https://www.google.com/amp/s/climbin...dnt-cheat/amp/

Re: MLB thread
Come on man. I tomahawk chop every opportunity I get: walking the dog, at Costco buying pallets of TP just to hoard and corner the market, eating ice cream cones, conference calls, washing the truck, etc

Side note: You are more mature than SD who I recently found out was one of the 5 remaining people in the US to still watch sports at Hooters and is more interested in shouting matches with managers than the scenery. |

I don't have cable and it's the only sports bar near where I live. And that place was packed last night. Definitely more than 5 people there. That's probably the best Hooters in the country, so the scenery is also fantastic.

Re: MLB thread
One of the managers was wearing a Dodgers hat. And he started a let's go Dodgers chant in the bar. That bastard!
Me and 2 other guys sitting across the bar from me seemed to be the only 3 people rooting for the Braves. But it's pretty cool when you win. A loss would have been very very un-enjoyable.
