um well we tried to excute the play and um we didn't um execute the play the way we um wanted to, i missed that question but i'm pretty sure that's his answer to every failed play

To paraphrase: he thought about kicking it after the Giants called a timeout, but he was thinking that there was some nuances to the play that the Giants may not have seen, so he ran it again. But the Giants "sniffed it out pretty good." His initial answer on why the play didn't work was "good defense."

He sounded like me defending an obviously moronic play call to my friends when I started playing Madden in college. I don't play Madden anymore.

I still can't figure out what the play was supposed to be.

Can't believe Zorn said the play before the half didn't work because of the Giants' defense! WOW!!!!!! Could it be that it was an absolutely idiotic play to run, not once, but two times!

Steve Young is just blasting the Redskins right now. I don't think I've ever heard someone on TV talk about the Redskins the way he is right now.
