I think that if Golic can pass it with time to spare, Albert should be able to do it. He is SUPPOSED to be an elite Defensive lineman.

I'm back to calling him Feignsworth. Bum knee or not, I'm starting to think the swelling is minor and shouldn't hold him back for long. He's got 2 more days on my clock.

Your logic is sound SS. Haynesworth was hired as a waiter, he worked for a year and the restaurant was sold. When new management took over he was informed that he no longer would be employed as a waiter but dishwasher instead. That's when the rubber meets the road.

Maybe if Cerrato had not promised Haynesworth that he would be the man, [forgot to tell Greg Blache] maybe he would not have signed here at all. He did have other opions.

Except for those measly millions he took before he became dishwasher... Maybe he did have other options, but he took this one, and he took the money.

There are no excuses or explanations for AH's behavior that hold water. Stop the nonsense and support the coach. We've seen the alternative and are sick of it.

Can't have it both ways guys.

Dosen't have to be nonsense because everyone don't share in your views. I expressed my opinion like you, it's mine and I'm stiicking to it.

Re: Haynesworth fails conditioning test

Only persons opinion besides Daniels on the defensive side of the ball that matters more is London's. I'm glad to see that the team is taking things in stride. Maybe it's hoping for a little to much, but I'd love to see Shanahan break the pattern of grudges, especially if Albert gets with the program and plays like he's capable of playing.

Daniels thinks Haynesworth regrets offseason

Redskins defensive end Phillip Daniels has an idea of what Albert Haynesworth might have done differently in the offseason: show up to Redskins Park. Haynesworth, of course, did not and therefore had to pass the conditioning test. And that led to the sore knee, which has led to other issues.

“I think he regrets it,” said Daniels, who speaks often with Haynesworth. “Albert is a prideful man. I know it bothers him, with everyone making fun of him. He does laugh about it sometimes. It’s funny sometimes – [Mike] Golic’s run was funny [on ESPN]. But you can tell he’s in some kind of shape, especially compared to last year. It bothers him a little, but he’s not letting it get to him. He knows what kind of player he is.”

Daniels was among those who spoke out about Haynesworth’s absence in the spring. But, Daniels said, he told Haynesworth what he told the media: when you’re 4-12, you don’t negotiate, you just show up.
But now the real issue is getting Haynesworth healthy enough to pass the test.
“He’s always had the knee or an ailing problem,” Daniels said. “He had some things last year. I had the pleasure of riding with his mom to the hotel yesterday and she said he always had problems with his knee. I really feel like it bothers him, but at the same time I think once he passes the test and gets on the field to play, he can erase all the things said about him that were negative….We need him on the field.”

Not that every player is worried about the situation. As one offensive player said, “I don’t give a [expletive]. I’m just worried about my job.”

Blaming Vinnie Cerrato is weak.

The evidence is clear, AH took the money and, at least so far, has weaseled out of performing on the contract he signed.

In my opinion, your waiter/dishwasher/Cerrato/Blache scenario is nonsense. And yes, you are entitled to your opinion and you can stick to it.

Yep same thing on PFT, Fat boy tries again! Stop the BS fat al and do your job!

Albert Haynesworth to retake conditioning test Saturday
Posted by Evan Silva on August 6, 2010 9:15 PM ET
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the "plan is" for Redskins defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth to retake his conditioning test on Saturday. Schefter has few other details, and it's unclear which side he's getting his information from: the team or Haynesworth.

If it's the Redskins leaking information to Schefter, and Haynesworth hasn't deemed his troublesome knee healthy enough yet to complete the test, it could be another power play by Mike Shanahan. Schefter, of course, wrote a book on Shanahan in 1997. So it's certainly not a poor bet that Schefter's report is coming from someone close to the coach, if not the coach himself.

On the other hand, Haynesworth and/or his agents could be using Schefter to get out the news that the $100 million nose tackle $48.2 million right defensive end's knee has healed sufficiently, and Haynesworth is ready to practice. Haynesworth was observed "flying on a treadmill" Thursday.

Or perhaps Haynesworth is just getting bored. The extent of his participation in Friday's practice? Recovering fumbles in a turnover drill.

You know people are entitled to their opinion, right? I'm glad people are not forgetting that the team brought this upon themselves (well the previous front office).

In the end, what's best for the team is for this mofo to pass the damn test and get on the field. Bitching about AH for the umpteenth time or making this into AH vs. Shanahan is not going to win any games for the team.

I have faith that Shanahan will break the streak of this team not being able to make talented players produce in a Redskins uniform (although that faith is running thin).

Wasn't it the waiter who bitched about the owner and the chef and asked for them to be fired ,he doesn't want to be a waiter he wants an "all you can eat buffet."....tips and all with out the work.
