Re: *Redskins vs Cardinals Gameday Thread*
Two weeks in a row I had the thought in the back of my mind that the letdown was coming, and two weeks in a row it never came. As a matter of fact we did the opposite. We took the game when it was on the line. You have to be encouraged.
Granted, this is a game we could of had much earlier and I'd like to see us finish games earlier but I'm excited for this season. and please, bring on Dallas!

Yeah I got an update earlier on my phone while it was still near the beginning of the 4th quarter saying we'd lost 14-10 hahaha

You have the ESPN Scorecenter app too? Yeah I got that as well, in addition to multiple updates like 2 hours after the game ended saying the Skins won 22-21.

Nearly got a heart attack when I saw that. Cause I had stepped out and I was like did they just play the last quarter in 30 seconds time?

How did Trent Williams do yesterday?
No more gloom and doom?

Re: *Redskins vs Cardinals Gameday Thread*
Trent looked pretty good actually which was nice to see for sure, the Oline looked pretty good, but we need to see it more consistently obviously. My observations from the game are that Kerrigan is going to be a very good player for us for a very long time. The guy just does NOT give up ever and his motor is red lining all the time! I love watching him play. He an Orakpo are going to give QBs nightmares for a long time. He is looking better in coverage that I would have expected as well.
Roy Helu looks like he is going to be a good change of pace for Hightower also. This was against Arizona so we will have to see if he can do it week to week but I am liking the way this offense is shaping up! |

While watching the game, they showed a sideline shot of Mark Rypien, some other dude, and Joe Thiesmann with their Super Bowl rings -- but who was the guy in the middle?
The announcers never said who he was... |

It was either Joe Montana or the CEO of NRG.
