I'm actually amazed at how much backlash Commanders is still getting. If they announced the name as the Washington Blue Stars tomorrow you'd probably have people celebrating lol

Um cowboys. I get your point but terrible example.

Commanders is bad on so many levels, and the patter has been so negative in general, that I almost wonder if they will switch to a second choice claiming commanders was a smoke screen all along.

I would not be surprised if this didn't happen but I have a hard time believing that a billion dollar franchise would not vett through focus groups, but it is hard to argue with the social media mob clamoring they are disappointed with the name.
