Well, we already beat Dallas with a healthy Romo and backfield in their house, and scored more than one TD in the process. We also beat Philly in their house and scored more than one TD. Yeah, we haven't won pretty. But to get after JC for his performance yesterday is super nit picky. His fumbles were due to awful pass blocking by Heyer, and aside from that he was amazing. How can you harp on a few incompletions when he was 23-28? Does he have to be perfect?

And your earlier comment about Jansen's penalties- the 15 yard facemask he was called for was awful. He barely grazed the dude's facemask. If the 5 yard variety still existed he still shouldn't have been flagged.

You read my post and all you see is "JC".. but I am talking about the offense as a whole, and saying that JC's issue with protecting the football is part of it. You can't handle even an ounce of criticism when it comes to him. Whatever is right.

There is no harping.. and there is no "getting on him". Read my post again and get over it. WAY TOO SENSATIVE.

Jansen had three penalties.

Do you even realize what you posted??

I'm still concerned about our offense. We are not showing enough and we should have beaten these guys hands down. We did not do that. I hate to say it but a small part of me is afraid JC is regressing a bit. He missed some wide open receivers today and didn’t throw the ball away at critical times. I’m not saying he did poorly, I’m just saying I’m concerned knowing we are playing the Steelers on Monday.
You mention concern about the offense, and then you proceed to talk only about Campbell and this dumb crap about him regressing.

Gee, why would I get the impression that you're focusing on Campbell?

Re: Redskins vs. Lions Gameday thread

He had one, ONE, bad throw all game. He didn't miss "wide open receivers" at any point. At all. In any way. None. That doesn't make sense. What game were you watching?

As far as throwing it away. When should this have happened? Maybe next game before the play he'll work it out with the o-line when exactly they are going to crap the bed and let him get bull-rushed at 100mph. That way he can just take the snap and throw the ball into the stands immediately.

Sure, that's not nit picking when he throws for over 300 yards with no picks and a QB rating near 130....

I'm not being "TOO SENSITIVE," I just think this was one of Jason's finest games as pro. The word "regression" is just flat out wrong. Sorry.

I'm not saying Jansen is mistake free, just saying that face mask was a shit call.

I realize that you cannot stand to be wrong and can't accept even an ounce of thought that might suggest that our O (which includes JC) didn't get it's job done as it should have on Sunday.

I really don't care if you think regression was the wrong word or not. You are misrepresenting what I was trying to say by making it sound like I was stating a fact and attacking JC. That's why it's a WASTE OF TIME talking to you.

More misrepresentation. I said "a small part of me is afraid" "regressing a bit"

You guys just love to bitch and bicker... If I didn't know better I'd think you were the woman.

Re: Redskins vs. Lions Gameday thread

I have no problem admitting I'm wrong, I've done it plenty of times here if you've paid any attention.

If your beef isn't only with Campbell then say so. Say what you mean for crying out loud. I'm not the only one here "misinterpreting" what you're saying. Again I'll point out you said you had concerns with the offense, and then you went on to single out Campbell. If you have concerns about the offense fine, but let's hear a little more than just gripes about Campbell. It just sounds petty when he's coming off such a good performance.

Re: Redskins vs. Lions Gameday thread

I agree the offense should score more, but I don't think any of that blame should fall on JC's shoulders from yesterday's game. His fumbles were due to backside pressure from Heyer's crap blocking, the penalties were not committed by JC, he completed an absurd 82% of his passes, and was once again INT free.

Yes, we need more points - see my user title. No, Jason is not regressing.

Umm, I put "regressing a bit" in quotes. I suppose quoting your exact words is misrepresentation? Boy oh boy, you're so defensive Greg Blache may have a few personnel packages for you.

And if you want to start throwing insutls around, let me just say it's pretty obvious who the woman is on this thread.

Re: Redskins vs. Lions Gameday thread

For me it is very hard to judge how good the Skins really are. Yes they did beat Dallas, but at the time I think Dallas was reading all the headlines and was full of themselves and were prime for a loss. And look at what has happened to them since. Philly had Westbrook get injured and without him they are a very average team. The past 3 games I don't think we played well at all. If Anderson wasn't playing so bad, Cleveland could have easily beat us. And Detroit also could have won. If we are as good as some people believe, we should have blown out at least one of these teams which we didn't.

Hopefully we also have had a letdown and not taking the past 3 games that serious since they were considered the easy part of the schedule. But if that is not the case, then I think the second half of the season we have a very tough schedule and it could be a long season.
