Been watching Moonshiners recently. God that Tickle guy is such a dumb ass. I think that's really all I have to say about this show. Plus bragging about your Pontiac and the engine it's got really makes you look dumb when you're concerned about a Ford Focus possibly trailing you.

Also been watching Gold Rush as well. I think it's interesting, but I'd like to know how much these guys are getting paid to be on camera and how that affects their bottom line in how much gold they have to find.

On a whim, i search Sliders on Netflixs. It was there. I knocked out about 8 episodes over the weekend. Now that I'm caught up with Breaking Bad I need a new show to get obsessed with, I'm thinking Dexter or The Wire, which way should I go?

God I have tired to like the Wire I really have and I live near B-more. I just don't see why folks get so excited about it.

Edit: well they did as of yesterday, looks like it's $19.99 again.

did you ever see The Corner? another B-more hood show. that was tight too...The Wire is same level as the Sopranos, maybe better

Absolutely The Wire! I watch way too much TV but that was probably my favorite series ever.

I've watched Dexter since the beginning and it's okay. I thought the first season was great, the 2nd & 4th were pretty good, and the rest were just so-so.

It may have already been mentioned in this thread, but did anyone watch Homeland on Showtime? I just watched the whole 1st season OnDemand last week and it's definitely the best new show I've seen in a long time.
Great cast, really good acting and writing, and Claire Danes' character professes to be a huge Redskins fan (it's about the CIA so it mainly takes place in DC) which is a nice bonus. I highly recommend it.

Now that the second season just started, after the 1st season won Best Drama/Actor/Actress at the Emmy's, I feel like I need to bring this up again.
