Or at least let Beck run the two minute drill.

Clemens with a weak toss there, not that it matters

Re: Redskins-Ravens: Gameday Thread
I'm sure the Ravens are enjoying the win because it was a hard fought match despite the 'preseason' label.

Damn, you'd think Baltimore just locked up home-field advantage...

Re: Redskins-Ravens: Gameday Thread
So the ravens are now 2-1 in the preseason, but both their "wins" came late in the 4th quarter. Um, good for them.

We've Lost Playoff Games... NFC Championship Games.... Super Bowls.... but nothing hurts quite like this last minute loss...... Tip my hat to the Ravens. Great Great battle. Fought through so much. Congrats on the W!

Can we cut Clemons now? Guy can't even toss a proper Hail Mary. Blechhh.

Again, and yet again, who has actually real game experience? I have to admit, Beck looks more fluid and is more athletic once he finally gets going, but that is in preseason and against backup defenders. Two years ago Chase Daniel looked rather fluid and more at ease in preseason that Brennan( and even JC) in the preseason, but it was Daniel that got cut. I have more faith in a guy that has actually been a starter in the NFL to a guy that has been nothing more than a 3rd stringer since he has been in the NFL. Now it would make a great story if Beck could become the starter, but I think it won't be too hard to rattle the guy if I am an intradivisional rival. I say that just because the guy is almost still basically a rook in experience. I am not a Beck hater, but I do want a guy that has earned a starting spot outright, been a starter for a decent amount of time and has a SB appearance under his belt to boot!!! |

For real, that was a horrible showing against the Ravens' scrubs.

Re: Redskins-Ravens: Gameday Thread
Well...it looks like to me that Blades should be cut, as well as Clemmens...no need for 3 QBs on this team, Riley looked pretty average too...concerned about ILB depth.
Also, that news RT backup looked weak....other than that i think our squad is fairly obvious. Austin has made this team

Re: Redskins-Ravens: Gameday Thread
There is nothing wrong with the Ravens players rooting for their guys battling in the 4th quarter. A lot of these guys wont be on the team so its good to be there to support them while you can.
Meanwhile the Redskins stole defeat from the hands of victory. |
