Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
The Athletic's proposal
No. 19 pick in the 2021 draft, 2022 first-round pick, 2023 first-round pick, 2021 third-round pick, DT Daron Payne. I'd prob do that

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
That's nuts for a QB that hasn't won a thing. Look I understand he is a good QB but that's insane.

I hope someone else trades for Watson asap. Then I don't have to think about how much of the enchilada I'd give away.

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
I would not include Curl or Sweat.
Here’s some interesting info on Curl: https://washingtonfootballwire.usato...XTqDSURbpZJl6o

I’d do that yesterday.

I would do that in a New York minute.

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
I like Curl but is he worth more than Watson? Hell no. It’s way easier to find a DB than a QB. Also we have seen guys have rookie success and then flutter after. Not saying he will because I think he’s a good player but it’s happened before. I hope something happens with Watson quickly because it gets old talking about trade scenarios all the time.
The Fields rumor may be legit and that could be their backup plan if Watson falls through

He is really good. He was Mahomes before Mahomes was Mahomes. He just never had a team or staff around him like Mahomes. He is a top three quarterback in the league right now and relatively young. |

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
Im torn between giving up all that for a proven elite quarterback or giving up less to move up for fields or wilson or lance.

Trey Lance is growing on me. Literally perfect for this offense.

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
I agree. Been saying that about him. He would be my preference if Fields didn’t work out. Lance may be a lower top 10, or even top 15 pick and could reduce what we’d have to give up to move up to draft him.
