Seriously though, all good points SGG. But it's been in one ear and out the other with him. So we're just going in circles.

He's happy Lloyd is not a Niner. We're happy he's not a Niner either. So we're all happy.
It's one happy World!!!! Except in the middle east and many other places.

Rexi,

I have no particular beef with you, the 49ers, or your opinions. I reserve judgment on Lloyd. I think, however, your use of that one video clip of Lloyd is a poor and misleading one. To me, it appears that Lloyd is ducking because the ball was so poorly thrown that he thought it was intended for a different receiver.
so Lloyd made no attempt what-so-ever to catch a ball that was going to hit him in the head? Most WR's mouths water to get their hands on the ball. Also if he thought there was a WR behind than he didnt know the playbook well did he?
Quote:
Also, Lloyd was in fact your #1 wideout last season. So, if he was a total piece of trash, locker room cancer, worthless wideout, what does that say about the 49ers organization and wide receiving corps? To me it says that the 49ers coaching staff was really dumb for putting garbage in the #1 wideout spot, or you are being a little biased in your opinion.
The sad fact is Lloyd was the 2nd best WR we had last year. We were that bad. Our best WR, Arnaz Battle, hurt his knee 1 1/2 games into the season and it bothered him throughout the year

Quote:
By the way, Lloyd didn't slow down to make a highlight catch as you so claimed. The ball was slightly overthrown and he had to jump/dive to catch it.
It can look that way, but he did slow down and had no interest in the YAC, just getting a SC highlight.

As to your first point, I'm not sure what you are getting at. Why do you think Lloyd ducked his head?

Your second point is somewhat reasonable. At least you admit that your receiving corps was bad last year. Who, besides Bryant, have the 49ers added at wideout?

I still strongly disagree with your last point. Are you really saying that Brandon Lloyd intentionally slowed down to make a leaping catch at the expense of running one in for a touchdown? You really can't be serious.

I had this one ice cream from some place in Annapolis once. Blueberry royal, man that was good.

Mooby, what kind of chocolate do you like best-dark, white, or milk? For me it's dark all the way, milk is ok, and white just sucks

There's this Ben and Jerry's in old town alexandria that makes the best ice cream.

Anyways, for me, I like milk chocolate the most, dark chocolate is acceptable, and i hate white chocolate pretty much too.

Re: B Lloyd - I'm starting to like this guy

jeez let the guy speak, we want other teams fans (as long as their knowledeable) on here don't we?

right now Lloyd is on my shit list for his lack of effort on that Brunell interception, and the ensuing return. if he put in half the effort Portis did on that play, we wouldn't have to bear seeing a true no.1 in a sling.
