Re: Arrington...
The only person keeping this going is Lavar. He is dead to me.
All I care about is if this bum Carter can put some pressure on a decimated offensive line. |

Time to start up "Sack-Watch 2006" for the two starting defensive ends ... Two games -- ZERO sacks. |

Re: Arrington...
when we were looking at lloyd i kept saying his highlight reel was so short that they had to include the same 4 catches 3 different times. I got royally blasted for it too :P Just like I got blasted for originally saying collins sucks. He's not a bad WR, but he'll make as many bad plays as good ones.
good blocker though. |

Re: Arrington...
It's probably not fair to criticize Lloyd just yet since every facet of our offense is in complete disarray. At the rate we're going, it's feasible that we'll see from Lloyd in '06 what we saw from David Patten in '05 -- without the injury.

Yes, I watched LT's entire career, he was a beast. Unequivically the best LB of all time.

Re: Arrington...
Funny, we think we have defensive problems. They let go two linebackers from last year. One of which is playing pretty solid ball right now. On top of that, as the article stated and ESPN just reported, Emmons is out for at least three weeks.
I just don't see this team making the playoffs. No way, no how. |

Switching Ellis to LB has really improved the Dallas Defense. Sure he is a bit of a liability in the flat, but he is a 275lb run stopping meance on the strong side who can rush the passer.

Re: Arrington...
Arrington has NEVER been a good football player ,, NEVER . He makes a few big hits , gets a big return on an int. and thats it . He never made a tackle on third and short during all the close games we lost , and he only made 1 big sack when we needed one < K. Warner > . Great athlete , average lb at best . Maybe if he had been in 3-4 defence he could have been scary ? Hope he can stay healthy , and hope he looks lost when we kick the giants ass !

Re: Arrington...
Lavar's problem is that he thinks he's smarter than he is, he thinks he's funnier than he is and he thinks he's a better player than he is. Maybe if he had shut up and taken advice from some excellent coaches he would have turned out better. Let's remember, it was not only Williams and Lindsay that found him lacking, but Marvin Lewis basically flat out gave up on him. Bottom line is good riddance.

Re: Arrington...
how about we try to focus on the players that the redskins have, not some washed up linebacker thats just about out of this league
