Romo is a Pro Bowler this year. Vick stinks bad.

Romo turned Dallas around and was more of a impact player in fewer games. I agree with you on this arguement.

See, if this was the case, why isn't Betts getting mentioned for the Pro Bowl? His past few games have been PHENOMENAL, so why not him?

Too late to get him added to the ballot, even then the backs in the NFC are too deep, Westbrook got shafted.

Romo is the only qb that hasn't sucked other than brees and bulger, that's why he went. There is no one else, Vick never deserved it in other years, why this year?

You need 5 games as a starter to be consider and in those 5 games he ahs to show more and convince more people that the other guys that have played the hole year.

Like L.Jhonson did last year in the 9 games he started.

guys that got snubbed

T,O hate him but he has had the best season in the NFC
You mean the guy that leads the league in drops, suicide attempts, unsportmanlike conduct penalties and spits?

Heck, he dropped 2 TDs against the Redskins alone!

I can live with TO getting snubbed. Sucks for him but when you act like an ass on a weekly basis you're not going to win many people over. Seriously, this guy is all about drama. He's a soap opera, I really can't wait to see him retire.

Good for Samuels, he deserves it.
I don't exactly have a hard on for Romo being in the Pro Bowl, but who else in the NFC would you pick? After Brees there's really no standouts in the NFC. Eli Manning? Rex Grossman? Old Man Favre? There's just no top-notch QBs in the NFC at the moment, so yeah, guys like Romo manage to sneak in after 8 games.

He also has the highest passer rating in the NFC at the moment.

I don't agree you can only be judged by the games you play and how much value you have and if those games made a difference and put you aboved that group.

Ben Roethlisberger in 2004 went to the PB but only started 13 games but he lead his team to the championship he didn't had the best stats but his team didn't lose a game on his command.

Favre has had a lot of bad games this year, Vick also and heck Romo beat Vick, you can say all about Vick's record setting rushing yards for a QB but guess what the real function of a QB isn't running is passing and winning games and he hasn't had agood year i nany of those areas Hasselbeck has been injure and hasn't had a good year.

The only Qb if he hadn't been Injured that I believe deservedit way more than Romo is McNabb
If McNabb had stayed healthy it would have been Brees/McNabb, and everybody else. They're the only two QBs in the NFC worth talking about until Romo proves he can handle an entire season.

I think with a healthy McNabb, Romo still get's in. Yes, even over Bulger.

I'm sure he got tons of support from fans, but you have to consider his peers voted too.

If Romo is a Pro Bowler, than Betts should be starting. Project Betts numbers out across an entire season, he'd probably break every record in the book.

Re: Death, Taxes, and Samuels in the Pro Bowl

Few points:

Why are people upset that Samuels made the pro-bowl and contend that he is overrated? I guess you people would be happy if we had no one. That makes a lot of sense.

Roy Williams making it over Dawkins is almost criminal. Dawkins hits just as hard except he can actually cover.

Whoever voted for Williams must have blocked out the Redskins and Saints games because you could argue that Williams is one of the worst safeties in the league from those horrid performances.

Lastly. D'Boyz claiming that Larry Allen is overrated? Sour grapes chief. I said it when they lost him, I will say it now. Larry Allen was the best lineman they had and he is better than any of their linemen now. It isn't a coincidence that the Niners runningback is leading the NFC.
