Your not the moral hierarchy of the situation. You've lost your cool before, and you're no one to judge. Yeah, your're probable right about the Taylor contract. Kudos to you. I've been right before, and so have many others, we don't go out of our way to wave the "I'm right" flag around. But props to you. Congrats. Enjoy your glory.

Taylor is the best defensive player we have. This is the dumbest idea ever.

This is a great site because over the years, members have taken it upon themselves to make this a site for educated discussion. I think we can all agree that we enjoy valid threads that make us think about the team and also serve to educate. I think most of us here would prefer that kind of thread over impossible trade proposals. I think I've pretty much said my peace on the subject and am ready to let it drop. But collectively, let's not lay it all on the mods to keep this place a haven for quality discussion. Let's take it upon ourselves to have knowledgeable discussions.

Re: What if we traded Taylo for Briggs.
are you serious? LB's are a dime a dozen..while i was all over the draft trade rumor involving Briggs, this idea is complete craziness. no way you give up one of the top 3 or 5 safeties in the league for a LB. who ever did that should be fired immediately

Re: What if we traded Taylo for Briggs.
I just took one look at the thread title and knew this wasn't going to be a very bright idea. Dude, I understand we all have our own opinions about our Redskins players, but Taylor has so far proved to be a bigger asset to us than a liability. Sure, he been caught out of position a few times, and has drawn a few senseless personal foul penalties, but he has also made some great plays for us as well. To me, giving up Taylor would be about as smart as trading Campbell for Jeff George.

Actually, I like the fire. I get bent out of shape too. When you are coming off a 5-11 season people should be pissed off. I would rather see people get fired up than read, "Joe Gibbs is the best. He will save us. If Joe said it, it must be true. The team is perfect now". blah blah blah |

Re: What if we traded Taylo for Briggs.
Much of the ill feeling and harshness could have been spared in this thread had we just resisted the urge to comment PERIOD. I don't feel the need to comment on every thread someone post just to have something to say. I realized this one was not going anywhere from the beginning. Much of the clutter would not be once the senseless posters realize they will be no response. I've been here a long time but feel the need to start very few threads because most of the topics worth discussung are covered in previous, or already existing threads.
