I'm actually more optimistic than most because I see light beyond the current mess w/ Gibbs coaching but not really coaching and not calling plays but then influencing the play-calling, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc.

And I post win or lose.
Good. Plenty of people don't though.

Still have to be worried about our CBs though. Smoot inactive, Carlos seriously dinged. Springs rarely plays 16 games. Jets game coming up. Time to move Landry and ST to CB, seriously we need some depth there. Skins forever, Gibbs is still my boy.

Remember a couple years ago when we were playing the Giants for first place and got whacked 36-0? We came back the next week and took down a Philly team we hadn't beaten in years.

Gibbs will have everyone ready to play next week, bank on that.

LOL, worst suggestion ever.. Take the best safety tandem in the league and in midseason move them to corner.. Put the controller down, turn Madden off and pick up a book.

I'm not dead but this team is dead to me...but now that McCloughan is here they may have new life!

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman

I certainly hope so because based on the way we stopped playing against the Cardinals and then the way we played yesterday, we look more like last year's team right now.

The offense has to open it up versus the Jets, grab a lead early and keep pounding them.

I think a high school team would've played better yesterday. If we brought in all of our backups we woulda done better. Sorry sorry sorry performance. Everyone needs to get their heads outta their asses and look at what happened. We lost 52-7.

Ugh.....ok got it outta my system

Just look at the third down plays and you can predict who Campbell is going to pass to. Gibbs has not adjusted to what defenses are willing to gamble on which is the run. Portis is fucking finished with no 100yd games yet. Yes the offensive line is hurt but Betts deserves to get the most reps after this game. Everyone knows the offense is pathetic and cannot score more than 21 points on an average. That is Gibbs responsibilty as an offensive minded coach.
I'm not sure if its Gibbs or JC not seeing the field. When I was at the Giants game JC missed a ton of open players and he still is. He has not had a great game all year. I know he is young but its time he starts showing signs of getting better.

IF THE COACHES SHOW NO CONFIDENCE IN JC, HOW IS JC SUPPOSED TO HAVE CONFIDENCE?

Yep, one game...that we got absolutely annihilated. We looked like a weak Division 1-AA team out there yesterday compared to the Pats. I almost fell out of my chair when one of the announcers said "Joe Gibbs is probably thinking we have a long way to go"....YOU THINK?

Yes, we are definitely hindered by some of the injuries the team has suffered, and that didn't get any better yesterday. Face it, we just aren't anything more than an average football team right now, and that is only thanks to our defense. If our defense wasn't as good as it has been so far, we wouldn't even be considered average. The offense just stinks.

All that being said, if we beat the Jets..."IF"... then we'll be two back of Dallas and we still play them twice. Playoffs are a possibility since we are in the weak NFC, but if you think this team would last more than a week in the post season, I want some of what you are smoking.

Yeah, the Detroit game was terrible. How could we possibly be satisfied with a QB rating of 125 and a record of 4-3 from a player in his first full season and half his starting O-Line out.

Screw that guy, we need to call Jeff George right away.

The Coaching staff was scared all week, therefore the players came out scared. We had a chance to score on our opening drive!!!! But our conservative BS offense kept running the F****** ball into their 500 pound tackle.

Did you even watch our first drive, or the second, or the third?

yes I watched the whole first half, and listened to the second. What's your point. Gibbs was scared and it showed on the field. Campbell was scared and hesitant.

First drive-9 total plays, 3 first downs, 6 passes, 3 runs (4 yard gain, 6 yard gain, no gain-2nd run got a first down). Shotgun formation twice

Second Drive-3 total plays, 2 passes, 1 run (run for 2 yard gain)

Third Drive-6 total plays, 5 passes 1 run (7 yard gain). Shotgun formation twice, plus a "trick" El to Cooley play (pass incomplete)

So where is this "conservative BS offense kept running in into their 500 pound tackle" drivel coming from?
