Re: Who was the worst acquisition of the last 10 years?
What about Jaime Asher? I wouldn't say he was the WORST but then again I was only like 11-14 when he played for us and I wasn't really paying too much attention to football in detail back then.
Anyone older know how he was as a player? And Whatever happened to that dude? I checked Wikipedia and they barely have a stub on him. Looks like he dropped off the face of the Earth.

Lloyd. It would have been Duckett if we had given him a new deal like we did to Lloyd, but Lloyd's contract was every bit as bad as his acquisition.

arch is bad but I feel that the middle linebacker Mike Barrow was the worst... did he ever play a down for us?

It has to be Jeff George. Hell the year Brad Johnson left he made the SB and won!!

Re: Who was the worst acquisition of the last 10 years?
I cant believe that so few people think that the Duckett trade was not the worst. I guess it is because Lloyd was an ass, and cost us a butt load of cap space. Duckett took the same amount of picks and we only had him one season. He had like ten yards and five carries. Worthless and we are still paying for him, at least Lloyd caught enough balls to be consider a decent 4th WO and an awsome 5th WO.

Re: Who was the worst acquisition of the last 10 years?
I say Duckett purley because we gave up a 3rd round pick for a guy we pretty much knew wouldnt be anymore than a 3rd down back......but he did at least make some plays for us...
I mean...they're all bad lol

Re: Who was the worst acquisition of the last 10 years?
arch was really bad if you consider that we let clark (a solid player and ST's best friend on the team) go in favor of him...

Re: Who was the worst acquisition of the last 10 years?
This may complicate the question, but which was the worst move going in AND coming out? Spurrier was obviously a disaster, but who didn’t like the move at the time? I know that can be said for every one on the list, but for me the guy who was exactly as advertised was Jeff George. Sometimes great (2000 vs. St. Louis), sometime awful (2001 season) but his reputation as a clubhouse cancer was well known going in and he didn’t disappoint!

He attempted 38 rushes for 132yds and 2TDs. I still think he was much more productive than Lloyd. But... If only we had given Duckett a chance!! (sarcasm)
