I chose the Cards because the Steelers have already won a title but if they lose I'll still be glad Tomlin got one.

Going for the Cards but I think the Steelers may be too much for them.
It would be nice to see the title stay in the NFC.

YES YES, OMG YES you sumbitch!

Cardinals defense is 133t. Seriously though, I honestly think that the Cardinals have a really great defense. I think their only weakness lies at one corner spot and one LB.

2. something that is amusing or ridiculous, esp. because of being ludicrously inadequate or a sham; a thing, situation, or person laughed at rather than taken seriously; farce: Their pretense of generosity is a joke. An officer with no ability to command is a joke.
3. a matter that need not be taken very seriously; trifling matter: The loss was no joke.

7. to say something in fun or teasing rather than in earnest; be facetious: He didn't really mean it, he was only joking."

Now seeing as how your an oversensitive wanker who can't take a joke let me break down the punchline. The Cardinals making the Superbowl and seeing a black President are both things people thought they would never see in their lifetime. There in lies the humour.

Another reason your an idiot? I'm black! If I can get a giggle out of it then so can you.
Apparently you're the one that can't take a joke. Ruhskins just made a non personal statement/opinion/joke. But you had to take the time to insult him personally calling him a Wanker. The definition of Wanker is one who masterbates. But I'm sure you knew that when you made the statement.

Also you stated the reason he is a idiot is because you're black. That's ignorant. Nobody cares if you're black. And to be honest the people you talk about not thinking they would see a black president obviously underestimated the American people. It took both White and Black people to elect Obama. No one race of people did it on their own. Some black people just didn't believe that white people would vote for a black man. Wrong! Tired of the Chris Rock mentality.

Sorry to anyone if this seems out of line. I just felt it needed to be said considering the way Ruhskins was quoted on post #50

I think we're all a little shocked by the news that the Bucs have signed Anthony Mix (incidentally their first move since letting Bruce Allen go...and yet we want Allen here?!)...but let's try to settle down here

I love great defense, but I really think you have to at LEAST be effective on both sides of the ball and I hate the idea of having a great offense or defense and letting the other suffer just because you're elite on one side of the ball. You could bring up a lot of points that you could legitimately argue against that, but I just don't feel like the Steelers deserve it.
First off if a team is in the super bowl they deserve it. However, if either of the current super bowl teams doesnt deserve it its the Cards. The won the easiest division in the NFL with a 9-7 record. The Steelers were 12-4 and a top seed in the playoffs. Dont forget also that the Steelers played most of the season without a running game due to injuries and still managed to win 12 games. Its not that they dont have an offense, it that the O has had a lot of injuries.

AZ is a great story and have been hot but now they have had to take 2 weeks off and I think that 2 weeks will cool them off.

Like I said before, there's plenty of arguments that go against my opinion, but I, Malcolm, just don't think the Steelers deserve. I feel like if you were to ask the Steelers offense if their defense has ABSOLUTELY CARRIED THEIR ASS all year, they would have to hang their heads and agree. Injuries or no.

And sure Arizona played in a weak division. They also beat some pretty good teams this year AND played extremely well in the playoffs.

C'mon, we all know that they just did that to get back at Jon Gruden, who was planning to turn mix into a superstar next year.

Remember how the Vikings drafted Hank Baskett and traded him straight up to the Eagles for Billy McMullen? I happen to think Jon Gruden is going to try to get a piece of that action with Anthony Mix.

I'm so happy, I didn't wake up this morning knowing how I'd work Anthony Mix into a post, but now I have.

The Steelers O averaged 21 ppg without a running game. Not the greatest but certainly not like Balt when they won the title. When a D only gives up 14 ppg and the O can get 21 it sure makes the O's life easier. If those number were reversed then I'd agree with your carried their ass theory but they arent so I dont.

I guess I dont know your definition of pretty good teams but in the regular season the only pretty good teams it looks to me like they beat were Mia & Dallas. They did get hot in the playoffs and thats all that counts and shows the importance of just getting in because once you are there anything can happen.

Re: Who are you rooting for in Super Bowl XLIII?

I just landed in Tampa Bay! I showed up to Phoenix last year and you all saw my pictures on how that turned out, so lets hope for the best again!! I brought my Sean Taylor Pro Bowl jersey again to see if I can make a tradition of wearing that at the Super Bowl
