Re: Glaring Need / Roster
SS, let me ask you something. If they couldn't trade down and with the way the roster is right now, who do you think they would draft? I'm saying it would be the best OLB available, either Cushing or Maualuga?

Probably Michael Oher or Clay Matthews

Re: Glaring Need / Roster
Both of these guys are intriguing prospects. Oher could turn out to be one of the best and Matthews works hard, is versatile, and has good pass rushing skills.

Re: Glaring Need / Roster
I think that in Blache's system we look for the run enough that maybe a rookie DE won't have much of an impact in the first year or 3, unless we definitely decide to let a young guy at the QB as he wills (and then you have half of the line let loose basically)
I know that DE is questionable, but it has been for awhile and somehow we've managed to live with that. I think that the glaring need is obviously on the front line, if ours could stay healthy, you'd definitely see a decent line.. I'd like to see Portis have to pass block less though.. and I guess we're a bit old and thin at LB, but like DE, I think that we could scoot by like we have been.. it's basically what position do we want to upgrade this year with youth.. and which we want to put off |

Re: Glaring Need / Roster
Speaking of missing people, shouldn't BHA have posted like ten 500-word posts in the Cutler threads by now?

Good shit man. Something tells me BHA will be a big supporter of a Cutler deal.

Jeez look around man. Snyder, Cerrato and Zorn had a circle jerk for like 8 straight hours today in the little man's office. This shit is super cereal!!!
