Anyway, clearly I'm not advocating throwing interceptions. I know they kill drives and morale. I think 53Fan sees my point -- hopefully JC loosens up a bit and actually trusts our WR's this year to throw to them.
Well, you are in good company then, because everyone is saying that, including JC.

I understand completely. I'd like to see our QB be able to make it RAIN on the poor bastards if needed to. Hail Redskins!

I wasn't aware that JC and Eli play every position on their teams.

The Giants had a super offensive line. The Redskins don't. You can be a pretty darn good QB if you have protection.

Thus lies JC's big problem. Can't have an effective offense with the aging, held together by duct tape line that we do. Not only does JC get hindered by this but if we have to rely on Clinton heavily again this season he might get really banged up. I appreciate that the FO finally addressed the D line, but we were ranked 4th in total D while we were what 28th in scoring?

when the SKins have a defense thats not in the top 15 you can throw the team under the bus, until then its all on the QB and the offense to get us there. and with guys like Moss,Cooley and CP there is really no excuse for us to miss the playoffs.

No one is throwing anyone under the bus except you.

You forget our Achilles heel my good man, and that is our offensive line, which is aging and battered. Not to forget our woefully young and unproven WR corp.

Dude, don't even bother with this guy. To him, JC is the sole reason our team didn't do well last year.

I bitch about JC too, but he is not half of our problems. No O line and not much depth are always our undoing for the past 4 seasons. Not to mention the crappy turnover ratio.

Re: Eli Manning vs Jason Campbell

I don't care what the stats show. JC over Eli any day. JC has more ability then Eli. Both are not that great at reading defenses. Put JC on a team with an O-line where he can have all day to decide who to throw like Eli has and he would out shine.

Re: Eli Manning vs Jason Campbell

First 8 games of the season = JC sacked 16 times
last 8 games = he was sacked 22 times. 7 of those came in ONE game vs the Steelers. so thats 15 in the other 7 games. Close to the same avg as the beginning of the season.

Not sayin the line was perfect but to act like we are how Houston used to be with our QB getting killed each week is a stretch.
