So guys.... first overall pick in the upcoming draft. Who should WE take? 1 player or trade down and get more picks?

Yes, until DS realizes that the FO needs to change it doesn't matter who the coach is for the most part. To go on the road and lose like that to a woeful team just tells me something is wrong. I know that's stating the obvious. I don't know what it is.

Anytime an organization hires a D coord and an O coordinator before their "new" coach something is wrong. It's downright laughable. Not so much the D coordinator but to hire JZ as offensive coordinator prior to hiring a coach is stupid. That tells you right there who "runs" the team and who the players respect.

I don't think they should fire JZ right now, but I do think they need to do some due dilegence. This is VC's guy too, so if JZ goes, VC has got to go. Period.

Doughty has been playing very well the last couple of weeks. Would you have him start over horton?

We really miss having Sean Springs as our leader of the CBs. The dude was hurt a good bit but he also played very well for us. Seems that these CBs need to find a leader. They are young but not very good.

Yeah, as much as he was injured and the cap room we would save and all that, I was worried when we let him go. Smoot is now the "veteran leader." Smoot's alright but come on, there's certain people I just wouldn't expect to learn things from or be led by, and Smoot's one of them. Secondary coaches are at fault, too.

I completely agree with the person who made this post..I think I can say with confidence now these 3 things:
Zorn Won't be here next year
Campbell won't be here next year
We won't go to the playoffs this year

I can say this as well that if all 3 of the things happen then we wont be in the playoffs next year either.

Re: This loss could be the best thing to happen to his franchise.

i didn't read all of the posts but the opening post is the best thing i have read on this situation for quite some time.

I agree and was thinking as I listened to the loss... I can only hope they will make no rash decisions and set about rebuilding.

not much else to say... espicially as I am leaving for 5 days in michigan in the morning....ouch. talk about bad timing

Re: This loss could be the best thing to happen to his franchise.

This game sucked. Apart from the opening drive of the second half the Skins showed little to no fire all day, way to stay "medium" guys. This game was horrible, and it shows exactly how poor of a job Cerrato has done in his tenure. We have depth at safety (maybe) and possibly defensive line.

Zorn has done a horrible job of developing the youngsters, meanwhile I keep seeing young receivers everywhere else in the league getting a shot to make plays. Maybe we didn't need three receivers (two wr and one te) in the 2nd round last year, maybe we should have at least attempted to address our depth at LB. It sucks that our d-line gets no pressure still, that our secondary has no identity and continuously plays ten yards off the ball on 3rd and 4, that the same things that plagued us under Gibbs 2.0 continue to plague us. I'm frustrated, but I don't want to see Zorn's head on a stake. I want to see some improvement. Only I have zero confidence that I will.
