Re: New "Uniform" idea
The only criticism I could have for these well-done uniforms is that they look like a Nike design for a COLLEGE team with the piping. I don't see these happening in the NFL, especially with Reebok being our designer.
Great execution but I still am in the camp of "our uniforms are one of the best looking in the NFL already so don't touch them" camp.

Re: New "Uniform" idea
I have a few questions....
1) Why is it so difficult to post pictures on this site now? 2) The colors are Burgandy and Gold. Can some one photo shop our uniforms with the actual colors involved? 3) I know I'm talking blasphemy but white is not named in the team colors, so basically white could be replaced with some other color as an off setter. Could people play with other colors...maybe Black. (Burgandy, Gold, and Black) (Burgandy, Gold, and Silver) |

Re: New "Uniform" idea
^As opposed to we used to be able to actually post the picture vs the link to the picture. I think in earlier pages to this topic people have mentioned that they could not post pictures or photo shopped pictures they have made unless they find a way to up load to a site in order to post the link. I guess it's the extra step that's inconvenient that for whatever reason popped up recently.

Perhaps I'm wrong. I could have sworn I have posted a picture her by simply cutting and pasting. Oh well.

Re: New "Uniform" idea
That's how you do it, it just needs the [IMG] tags around it... am I missing something here?

Re: New "Uniform" idea
I guess I am more of a traditional guy. I would prefer to keep the uniforms as they are. Your design isn't bad, but as I have seen teams go away from what works, like the Seahawks, Cardinals, Bengals, etc. They really didn't do a good job with their updates.
I am not bashing your uniforms. I think that they would be fine. My one criticism of your uniforms is the R on the side. I thought that was a bit much. |

A good example is the Vikings. The throwbacks they are wearing are FAR SUPERIOR to the modern set they use with the random, but overdone piping and striping.

Re: New "Uniform" idea
Real Redskins never had a spear or an Indian on their head. Just a couple of feathers dipping down at the side or near the eyes for the same usage as a ball cap visor, in order to shield the sun. I like that helmet design from the B&G early, early early years. No, I'm not quite old enough to remember seeing them!
Some have said the throwbacks of 2002 were great, and I like them more than what we have currently. Some have said we need more gold, and to that, I agree. One person asked if Summo could change the shoes, and some current players wear the yellow accented cleats. The only thing I don't like is that they look like flags are being dropped all over the field to these old eyes! Maybe both B&G accents for the shoes? I do remember #9 very well. (Check my avatar!) He could flat tho' that ball! (Sonny's voice!)
