I dont want to turn this thread into something its not, but Zorn does NOT deserve the blame for this team being a failure. He was not dealt a great hand in this mess of an organization. Over aged, injury prone roster with no depth at all. I dont care who is behind center or at running back, with the oline that we have had all season, Johnny Unitas wouldn't have been able to do a damn thing, Peyton, Brady, Farve no one. So lets not put all the blame on him. Vinny (thank god he's gone) and Danny built this team the last ten years and haven't taken but 1 Olineman in the top two rounds the last 10 years. |

Re: 10 Cuts-Your Call
1. Portis
2. Rogers 3. Heyer 4. Smoot 5. Betts 6. Rock 7. Williams- still annoys me that we gave him a spot ahead of Bridges 8. Randy Thomas 9. ARE 10. Griff- Too many injuries Bottom Line: I could add Gano to that list, but these 10 guys have either been injured or underachieved this season. Someone please explain why you'd cut AH or D-Hall? |

Re: 10 Cuts-Your Call
A team that has many components (including an offensive line) who needs a game manager. Or a team with a shaky starting QB that needs a solid back up.

Re: 10 Cuts-Your Call
I'm still blown out of my mind that people think Portis would generate any kind of favorable draft pick. I'm serious guys, i really believe that he would only get us a 4th round or 3rd round pick. And it's not just his physical condition/injury risk that would warn off teams...its his attitude too.

Re: 10 Cuts-Your Call
Clinton Portis
Albert Haynesworth Me-Angelo Hall Mike Sellers Ladell Betts Santana Moss Chris Samuels Todd Collins ARE R.Wynn I think they need to rid themselves of all players that represent the overspending Snyderatto culture of this team.

Re: 10 Cuts-Your Call
Then if we have no choice but to keep him, then they need to use him in pass blocking situations only, and use him absolutley sparingly in running situations. However, being the person that CP is...he would likely never agree to this.
We need to go ahead and trade him for whatever we can get at this point. Don't let ourselves be fooled into thinking that CP is the only back out there who can pass block.

Re: 10 Cuts-Your Call
I am floored at all the Rock hate.
He shouldn't be a return man. We saw that last night when he couldn't outrun an LB in the open field. But he has crazy heart and is an animal on ST (not the return aspect, buit all others) and is not a bad 3rd string back or blocking back. |
