The one guy on our team that is a pefect fit for the 3-4 is Rak. He's a perenial pro-bowl type player at 3-4OLB

A 3-4 requires a huge commitment, Green Bay was able to make that change quickly because they successfully brought in two highly talented rookies that were perfect fits as well as one of the best 3-4 coordinators in the league. We don't have the luxury to spend picks on defense and the free agent market is full of fruit thats close to it's due date.

I wouldn't be opposed to a 3-4 hybrid where we gradually transitioned but I don't want to see a full commitment until we get the offense sorted out.

People say we dont have the personell for a 3-4....Dont forget we have Montgomery at 330 lbs that can play NT with Griffin & Haynesworth backing him up...

DE Jarmon, Golston, Alexander, Haynesworth...all 280 lbs(+)
ILB Fletcher, Henson, McIntosh,Blades,
OLB Orakpo, Wilson, Carter

All we need to add is an additional 3-4 OLB, through the draft

I doubt he'll last until the 36th pick. So many teams run the 3-4 and he's the perfect NT. He'll get scooped up somewhere in the late teens or early twenties.
