Proof in point EVERY team he has been on, he has been run out of town because of the negative affect he had on that locker room.

San Fran
Philly
Dallas

He was only in Buffalo for one season, and as history as stated, he is a model team mate in that first season. Not too mention if he really was that valuable, do you REALLY think he would still be unemployed at this point? If he was as good as he thinks he is, why wasn't he signed the first day of Free Agency.

And look at what Dallas did just one year removed from Owens.

Man, I dont want to argue with you, I am on YOUR SIDE on this one. I really hope an pray that you DO sign Owens. It is exactly what this team needs.

Adn lest we forget that when Shannahan was in Denver and Owens was headed out the door in SF, Shannahan tried to trade for Owens.
If we sign him it would be for 1 year, the guy is like 36 or 37. The guy wants to win badly and it would be payback towards the Cowboys and Eagles, he knows this is it, no teams are beating down his door and he would be on his best behavior.

Shannahan tried to trade for Owens a few years ago. This doesn't mean he would want him now that his skills have become weaker. Owen cannot seperate from corners like he used too

When TO can take over a thread about someone else without any objection, that says something right there. Looking forward to the "Redskins are talking to TO thread" in the near future. OK back to Flo.

IMO they all suck. It's who sucked the least. Not sure but none of them should be on an NFL roster.

Re: Flozell Adams at right tackle?

Signing TO kinda makes me think this will be just a team full of talented mercenaries who don't really give a shit about the "Redskins". Like the Flozell Adams thing. U think he will be filled with pride at being a redskin? Hell no, he just wants to get paid and act like a frikkin fool. I want our team to be just that, a team that sticks together thru thick and thin. Not full of one year stop gap merc's.

But thats just me.

He's had an offer on the table, just hasn't signed it. Perhaps he's looking for something better than what the Redskins are offering him.

I agree with you. Signs point to the regime building with players as you call talented mercenaries. Johnson, Parker, McNabb, Buchanon, etc.

Ding ding.

While you're right, I'd rather use Malcolm Kelly as our #3.

Agree but, If FO is building a team based on chemistry then they may not be able to overlook the "ON FIELD" chemistry of Mcnabb/TO. Just a thought...
