D. Jackson has only played 2 years though, I would guess he's got at least another 2 years on his deal. Of course, he could demand to be paid anytime & would have some leverage based on his production.

He has a base salary of $550,000 and roster bonus of $764,625 for 2010. Not much for a starting QB. Giving him a 1 year extention for 12.25 mil is not exactly a ringing endorsement. Though it does show more confidence than JC was shown.

Well Kolb's not much of a starting QB. As far as JC is concerned I'm curious to see how Skins fans will react if he has a breakout season. I have never been a huge fan but I do hope he does have a great season. Oakland seems to really believe in him. It will be interesting to see how he does. Have a good night 53.

Technically a veteran can't have their contract renegotiated twice within a 12 month period (and McNabb just had his renegotiated with his extension last June). But I'm not entirely sure how that rule applies when a player changes teams
