Re: Stanley Cup Playoffs 2010
Props to Ref 59 for getting in there and stopping the goons and their cheap hits on Chimera.

Re: Stanley Cup Playoffs 2010
Thats the best 20 I've seen the Caps play this series. Its about time they're actually playing like the caps.

Re: Stanley Cup Playoffs 2010
If we can play like we played in that period for the rest of the playoffs, they'll win the cup - no question.

Re: Stanley Cup Playoffs 2010
That's one of the best 20 minutes I've seen the Caps play this season. As long as they play half as good as they played in the second this game is wrapped up. And that's the kind of period that can completely give the momentum to one side in a series, hopefully we can wrap this thing up after this.

Damnit...Can't really do much about that one. We just cant let them build up any momentum.

Re: Stanley Cup Playoffs 2010
I really just want to get out of this series. I'll feel so much better if we can get out clean. Honestly, the habs are the last team that I wanted to play in the first round.

Re: Stanley Cup Playoffs 2010
Hopefully they can figure out Carey Price before Game 4. I think part of our success tonight is due to them learning how to attack Hallack.

Re: Stanley Cup Playoffs 2010
Carey Price isn't that good of a goalie. They'll have no problem figuring him out. I wouldn't be surprised if they still give Hallack the nod for Wednesday though.

Re: Stanley Cup Playoffs 2010
Hell yeah! I love seeing Brads score. He was really digging for that one.

Re: Stanley Cup Playoffs 2010
That second period was something serious. Varly was awesome tonight. Looks like Bood's made the right call. Ovi's goal was nasty. This is how a 1 seed is supposed to look like vs an 8 seed.
I really hope Varly is here to stay, both in the postseason and for years to come. I really want to buy his jersey.

But for now since I don't make it to nearly as many games as I'd like to I'll just stick with my #8 sweater.
