Moorse should only be out for 4-6 weeks. No IR for him. Should be back around week 3 at the latest.

Kelly's not practicing again. I think his time here is slowly coming to an end.

Malcolm Kelly: "I was able to run about 3-quarters speed. I've found a way to run to make it not hurt. I'm kind of cheating it right now." 18 minutes ago via web
2 questions:

1) is it possible there is something more than the hamstring that hasn't been diagnosed?

2) why would Kelly think he would be good if he shows up for one day of practice, given what AH has put this team thru?

1. Rhabdo....

2. 'Cause he's been with the team the whole way all off-season, whether or not he's actually able to practice

Re: Annual Predict the Final Roster Thread: 2010 Version

Come on people the first cut downs are coming time to make your last selections who makes it and who dosen't.

QB - McNabb - Grossman
RB - Portis - Johnson - Parker -ATV
FB - Sellers - Young

WR - Moss - Thomas - Kelly - Armstrong - Austin - Banks
TE - Cooley - Davis - Paulsen

LT - T. Williams
LG - Dockery - E. Williams
C - Rabach - Lichtensteiger
RG - Hicks - Rinehart
RT - Brown - S. Heyer

Total: 26

Defense
DE - Haynesworth - Daniels - Holliday
NT - Kemo -(Haynesworth)
DE - Carrikier - Golston - Jarmon

ROLB - Orakpo - Wilson
LOLB - Carter - Alexander
ILB - Fletcher - Blades
ILB - McIntosh - Riley

CB - Hall - Barnes - Tryon
CB - Rogers - Buchanan
FS - Landry - Tyrone
SS - Doughty - Horton

Total: 24

Special Teams
K - Gano
P - Bidwell
LS - Dearth

KR - Banks
PR - Thomas

Practice Squad: Williams, Capers, Cook, Henson, Morris

Galloway gets released because of age no one will sign him & we can pick him up later if we have an injury or we trade Kelly to St. Louis because of his familiarity with their QB Bradford.

Moore will be on injured list for first Six weeks.

You've pretty much nailed it NYC'. In my opinion, There's no need for Johnson and Parker. Keiland Williams will edge out Torain although I see your logic with PSing the rookie. Beck is on the active roster. I like your call on FB Young. He's a football player. Good call on Galloway. He'll be a phone call away but, can this young WR corps survive w/o another vet? Roydell Williams hasn't done anything to hurt his chances of making the team. Banks, on the other hand, should not make the team. Maybe there's a PR/KR guy that the 'Skins will sign off the streets or another team's practice squad. Maybe Thomas fits the bill. I just don't think Banks has the physique or WR skills to hold down a roster spot. I know Austin makes the first cut, the second cut, I'm not so sure. He has PS written all over him and it will surely be beneficial. I'd like to see him and Thomas more in the return game. He may be the next Armstrong. Speaking of Armstrong, I cannot recall another fringe player with so much potential. He doesn't have the size of man-crushes Marko Mitchell, the speed of Anthony Alridge, or inflated college stats of Pineapple Je5us. He's a bonafide gamer and I'd be shocked if he doesn't start alongside Moss! Great prediction with trading Kelly to STL especially that Donnie Avery is done for the season. I agree with you on the TEs and OLs. Will the team carry 3 or 4 OTs? Having only 3 legitimate OTs worries me, especially when none of the Gs we have can swing that position effectively. Your predictions on the DL looks good too. Regarding the LBs, Henson makes this team. If 8 LBs is all the team carries, then bye-bye Blades. I think our Ss are set with Tyrone Carter on board, Holmes gets the axe.

QBs--McNabb, Grossman, Beck
RBs--Portis, Johnson or Parker, Williams
FBs--Sellers, Young

TEs--Cooley, Davis, Paulsen

WRs--Moss, Armstrong, Galloway or R. Williams, Thomas, Kelly

OTs--T. Williams, Brown, Heyer, Capers
Gs--Dockery, Hicks, E. Williams, Rinehart
Cs --Rabach, Lichtenstiger

DEs--Haynesworth, Daniels, Holliday, Jarmon
DTs--Kemoeatu, Carriker, Golston

OLBs--Orakpo, Carter, Wilson, Alexander
ILBs--Fletcher, McIntosh, Riley, Henson

CBs--Hall, Rodgers, Buchanon, Barnes, Tryon

Ss--Moore, Landry, Carter, Horton, Doughty

P--Bidwell

K--Gano

Re: Annual Predict the Final Roster Thread: 2010 Version

Moore cannot be on the PUP list as he started camp healthy and on roster. We have discussed this when it came to puttin Kelly there as well.

If a player open training camp healthy and on the team then he cannot be placed on the injured unable to perform list also known as PUP.

Both Kelly and Moore will have to take up roster spots if they are not released. Moore is not going anywhere but I would not be so sure about Kelly at this point in time.

Re: Annual Predict the Final Roster Thread: 2010 Version

I'm hoping...our final roster looks a lot like what dirtbag has...

The only thing about his roster that he has I'm not crazy about is.....

I cannot stand Tryon at all.
But I also haven't been paying much attention on him either...too many new faces to evaluate for me.
Has he been playing well?

If it's the new and improved tryom, than I'm cool.

If it's the guy in our secondary that wears a redskins jersey with "burn me" written all over it...get him outta there.

Hopefully I'm wrong on that.
But my god..I'd rather kelly be our 7th WR on the sidelines never Playing than Tryon on the field.

and what about that new D-back vet we sign...spencer I believe?
I know he's made a few tackles.
could he be a possibility?

Other than that..very good roster dirtbag..and I hope the real one mirror's the one you have bud!

I feel sorry for the guy, he had two bad preseason game and has been hated ever since. From what I have seen he has played well ever since.

Re: Annual Predict the Final Roster Thread: 2010 Version

A lot of people have Sean Ryan making the roster at TE. I think he's on Tennessee's roster right now, so that would be quite the prediction if it came true.

Yeah well I made my predictions in April and I've chosen not to change my predictions since then.

Also stupid Byron Westbrook looks like he'll make the team again cause of his special teams. Just can't get rid of this guy.

Torain is the man, if we let him go we'll miss him like we all miss Chase

And I'm sure others have called him ATV before me. It's not so original like Pineapple Jesus, but Ill gladly take the credit
