a police officer can knock on your door and ask if he can search your home. you can say no and the cop cant do anything about it. (in the real world, you say no, the cop does what he wants anyway then claims consent or exigent circumstances like the smell of burning marijuana or a guy was sitting on the couch acting nervous and i had to search him and the area for any weapons and i just so happened to find the cocaine under the bathroom sink upstairs where hypothetically the nervous guy could have ran up to and retrieved a weapon from) when i lived in san diego, i lived in what they call the ghetto. its not really ghetto, at least not by DC standards. there were a shit ton of illegals but they were great. so close to the border they were so worried about everything that they wouldnt bother you, very very polite and respectful.

Re: Arizona's New Immigration Law
Sometimes I just don't understand how y'all can be so blind? Mexico has natural resources, some great farm land, and oil. So why are the Mexicans coming here? They're coming here because Mexico is a Narco-Cartel hell hole. You'd risk your life to come here too. It's that way because all the drugs flow up from South and Central America, through Mexico, and into American veins. This has nothing to do with race. It's about money. Ever see the movie "No Country For Old Men"? Multiply that by California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Arizona. 50% of Mexico's problem is America's dope habit.

Re: Arizona's New Immigration Law
If what I heard the other night was correct each illegal here cost the tax payers around $7,500 per year and that does not even enclude the jobs they take from the poor. I have no problem with anyone who wants to come here and better their life but do it the legal way and you have no problems. If your an illegal then you have what is coming to you and the worse thing is you get deported. Wow, all of this up roar over the fact that AZ is going to round them up and take them back to Mexico.

Re: Arizona's New Immigration Law
You're right. In real life Cartel hitmen put people in 55 gallon drums of acid, alive.

I personally don't want them here either but if you took every working illegal out of the US today and replaced them with a US worker making min. wage it would send major shock waves through our economy.
