Re: HGH DR. linked to Redskins Player

Ok if this player was treated regularly through 2 or 3 seasons can we expect a total expulsion from the NFL or what?

...my first thought was actually London. The man has just played at such a high level for his age it's easy to think of him. On the other hand London is maybe the most honorable guy in the game so no I don't really think it could be him. I could see Tana for sure.

You are hit the nail on the head there. They are going to try to find out how this guy is passing these drug test. So yes .

HGH is banned but not tested for, if I understand right the test was considered too intrusive and thus not allowed under the expiring CBA. This may be the watershed case that brings it into the next one.

No way this happens cuz, The player will say he had the same treatment Tiger Woods had, basically no evidence of a positive test no way you can get punished.

I remember hearing that Malcom Kelly was going to see a doctor in Canada, who would over see his long term maintenance of his knees. He was recommended by Shawn Springs.

Do you ever remember hearing a story like that about Kelly. Maybe Shawn Springs is part of it also.

It could be Shawn and he just that dude again in washington. S.SPRINGS has that body type where you can see him getting bigger as the years pass, like Barry Bonds.

Re: HGH DR. linked to Redskins Player

I was talking to a coworker about this, is hgh use really all that bad for football players? Most players and positions take a pounding on a weekly basis. Fans, coaches, owners, and teammates expect you to play through injuries. The average career is only 2-3 years. If you miss any significant amount of time youre considered washed up. Contracts arnt guaranteed. There is always someone trying to take your job. A minor injury can completely kill your career.

If you are given the choice between using HGH to come back from injury (or containing a chronic injury) or working at UPS or a car dealership what would you do? I guess it’s a banned substance but maybe the rules should be modified so players can use hgh treatment for injuries.

Also my money is on Kelly. We should have kept Marko.....
