Re: Where does D. Hall rate as a CB for the Redskins all time?
Gtripp, I agree with u that both Wilson and hall having similar playing styles-- which can create problems when opposing offenses attack deep because theres only one free safety that can help over top. But I still think that there's a chance that this defense can be successful despite that. There needed to be changes from the bend but don't break philosophy of past redskins d to hasletts philosophy. And part of that was letting go players like Rogers.
And the play with Evans burning hall- hall still had good coverage on Evans. It was just a problem because if hall knew he wasn't going to have safety help - he NEEDS to jam the receiver at the line. Last edited by warriorzpath; 08-28-2011 at 07:45 PM. |

Who played opposite of Darrel Green in the 80s and early 90s Superbowl teams. Does anyone remember without looking it up? I cannot.

Not at this stage. No.

So then you think we're better off with the second worst CB in the league?

I wouldn't be surprised if CB isn't a issue addressed next draft in the higher rounds.

Well Green played a lot of years, so there was more than one corner playing opposite him.

I'm pretty sure it was Vernon Dean (San Diego State) that played opposite Green.

My prediction is Hall will be gone next season, he will be asked to restructure his contract. I just don't see him having an extraordinary year.
