Re: Sex Abuse Scandal Rocks Penn State
You can't punish the people who had nothing to do with it. No way they shut down the program. That's ridiculous.

Re: Sex Abuse Scandal Rocks Penn State
A major house cleaning is coming and Joe Pa should be first. This all happened on his watch. He should step down TODAY! But he's such a hard head he's probably thinks he's not to blame. His DC was playing around with little boys in the shower and he knew about it and looked the other way. The whole administration department looked the other way. So dispicable.

Re: Sex Abuse Scandal Rocks Penn State
Looks like his departure is in the works.
Penn State Nittany Lions call off Joe Paterno's news conference - ESPN It really is such a shame for all of college football. Such a legend goes out like loser. Oh well, it's deserved.

Re: Sex Abuse Scandal Rocks Penn State
What I don't understand is why didn't the guy ( Mike whoever, think he's the red head on the sidelines) who actually saw it, put a stop to it??? I would've walked into that shower, punched Sanduski as hard as I could, grabbed that 10 year old and got him outta there. How could this guy witness such a sick thing and not do anything about it? He should just pack his shit and leave Happy Valley today and Joe Pa should be right behind him.

Re: Sex Abuse Scandal Rocks Penn State
Joe Paterno is garbage. All he apparently cared about was wining and setting meaningless records. I wonder if the fcking clowns at the NCAA are going to punish the school the same way they would punish them if the players were getting paid or some such.

Re: Sex Abuse Scandal Rocks Penn State
Well I mean lets be honest kids. Giving a young man a Cadillac or paying them a $100 an hour to mow the lawn is much worse then having a major case of pedophilia slip your mind.
What I want to know is whats the deal with the witness. Why did he go to just Joe Pa and University officials? If I was above the age of 10 I would be sure to contact the police.

Re: Sex Abuse Scandal Rocks Penn State
I tried to take a few days to make sure I wasn't overreacting.
Plain and simple JoePa and plenty of others had a moral obligation to do what it took to stop this. I can understand within the context of the situation them initially trying to figure out how to deal with this internally..they're dealing with a trusted coworker they've worked with for 30 years...but eventually everybody sits in a room and figures out they have to call the cops. Anyone who knew about this should be fired...end of story. |
