Re: Redskins at Saints Post Game Thoughts
Aldrick Robinson was targeted 6 times by RG3, more than any other receiver. I think that this performance may earn Robinson more time in the O. It will be interesting to see if he is used more next week.

In case anyone wanted to relieve the greatness that RGIII is (or just didn't get to see it). Here's his first TD pass.

And before anyone says it's only different because he has Griffin running his offense...that's true, but it misses the point. This was a very different offense than what we had seen from the Shanahan's in each of the first two seasons. A majority of our first half runs came out of the gun, which did wonders to protect our OL from itself. It's telling that Spagnuolo didn't solve Kyle at halftime, which you might have predicted from watching the past two seasons. Kyle stayed one play ahead most of the game.

For those attributing today's performance to the Saints D being really bad, what Redskins team have you been watching all these years? The Skins have struggled mightily to score against ALL Defenses, good, bad and mediocre.

I love the acceleration as Garcon tucks the ball and heads up field. He faster than I thought

Re: Redskins at Saints Post Game Thoughts
He's a bum, plain and simple. He sucked because he sucked. Not because the Offense wasn't tailored for him. Eagles gave up on him, he sucked here and then went and sucked for the Vikings. He even sucks as a commentator.

I'm still just in shock that we scored 40 points. The DB's looked a lot better than I thought. Make no mistake, that NO offense is still as good as there is out there. They can basically score at will. They're gong to score 25 plus against just about everybody. Now I hope we can demolish St Louis and pay them back for some recent upsets.

Re: Redskins at Saints Post Game Thoughts
I am getting past the shock but now approaching acceptance!
I expected 35-17 Saints....wow...just wow. As many have been gushing about RG3's talent, I was very skeptical...and only after the 3rd preseason game, I started to believe...why?...3 games, no picks...for a rookie...that almost never happens, even in preseason...well...the greatest stat for a rookie QB to measure comfort is picks, imo. 3 other rookies had 10 picks today alone. RG3 has had ....ZERO in 4 games now. That is flat out insane. Also, I said Cedric Griffin sucked and should have been cut....well, I was WAY wrong on that...he had a great game and so did Gomes. I thought our 3rd corner and 2 safeties would get abused....they didn't....I am shocked. Also, for everyone that said getting this new kicker was a mistake, fess up...you were wrong...I love our new kicker, he was actually perfect!...when was the last time we could say that. I do think the Skins could have scored even more if we didn't go into burn the clock mode, but a rookies first start is risky to try to win by throwing against an aggressive D. I really thought there was no way to win this game...I thought we'd need to score 35 points in a game, and that was almost impossible, since we haven't hit that in a couple years, and certainly not with a rookie QB against a top team. I still can't believe it...is this real? Is it true? Do we have a Legit top 10 QB on our hands for the next 10 years? Can the Skins now compete with anybody? Is there true hope? I just don't want to get my hopes up again, but it is hard to deny the facts. It is just one game but what a start! WOW....what a difference RG3 makes! HAIL To the REDSKINS!

There is a first time for everything Jedi Master.
I was going to go as far as saying somewhere in the negative range.
