Redskins Free Agents

Couple of thoughts, not worth a new thread, but things I am thinking as a Skins fan:

I would think that there has to be some Skins news today or tomorrow. Between having to be under the cap, and the new pre FA agent-team talking, the FO has to have a slew of moves they will be announcing in a brief span.

And this has to have been one of the quietest lead up to FA by a Skins FO since DS has owned the team. I think that is a good thing, but certainly the penalty has kept us out of the spotlight too.

FA starts in 5 days and it seems like any court action (re:penalty) is now extremely unlikely.

I would love to be a fly on the wall in BA's office for the next few days!

We have to keep Davis. I just fear that another team, like Cleveland, will pay him more than we can. If I'm Davis I'm going where the money is. Can anyone blame him?

If Davis wants to chase the money let him.

If he's at all interested in winning Cleveland would be one of the last spots to pick.

In the end I think he stays here.

Cap is crazy.. Most have #Redskins at $3.4 million over. NFL has Redskins at $2.9 million under.

It's probably just NFL.com getting it wrong, but sure would be nice if their numbers are correct.

I'm happy to step into his place if needed. Just show me where to sign. I'm not against signing for the vet minimum. I'll play out of my contract soon enough.

I feel like we go through this every year. I think it is time for a long term extension or outright release. These one year, show me what you got, contracts just aren't cutting it anymore.
