I don't get the push to see RG practice harder or get more reps, whether it's coming from him, the media or fans? We know what the kid can do. He's a phenom. Health, rehab and protecting his longevity are key IMO. Definitely want to see him get really comfortable planting on that leg, but again he doesn't need to run a million drills to get totally comfortable throwing the pigskin to his receivers.

Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread 2.0

The season is a long, tough slog. We need RGIII to be feeling good in January. From this point of view, it makes no sense to push him too hard in August even if he weren't hurt.

Yeah pre season sucks but it's better than nothing. I'm excited to see some of our young guys get out there and ball. For the first time in a long time it finally looks like we're actually building a team that can take a run at the Super Bowl.

He still won't get hit, but does he run out of bounds, slide, dive? And again there will be "falling bodies".
Hint to guys on the roster bubble - How to quickly find yourself off the roster: Rouch RGIII during an 11 on 11 drill.

I know what the starters can do. I am like the rest of you, I want to see the rookies play and maybe some Nick Barnett.

Love the tidbit on Helu. Fingers crossed he stays healthy and can be our change of pace RB to Morris.

I've rooted hard for Helu ever since going to the Seattle a couple years ago when he ran like an all pro. Anybody remember it?

Awesome can't wait for his obvious camp report being obvious.

He needs to stay behind a keyboard and away from the camera thus camp reports are painful and useless.
