Re: Fred Davis Bye Bye

well, the other way to look at it is we could get an injury replacement once reed goes down again at veteran minimum prices. 8-10 games of fred davis is still better than 16 games of niles paul.

it's a real shame he's not that bright though. it really is kind of a waste.

Fred (to himself): What the **** was that? He must be trippin'. He knows i can't be smokin' that shit right now. I was just gonna ask him for some help findin' a job with another team. I got to get outta this place!

"And that's why I failed the last drug test, Mr. Goodell."

Wonder when the NFLPA will fight suspensions of players where weed is legal?

it's still banned under the cba, so they won't, or they won't have any traction. when they redo the cba though, i wouldn't be surprised if it's brought up.

Re: Fred Davis Bye Bye

It doesn't matter if the entire US makes weed legal. It's within the rights of the NFL to ban its usage. Many of the drugs on their PED list are over the counter stuff that is legal and yet it is still banned.

Legality of the drug is really irrelevant.

Yea it's the same thing with freedom speech and people that think your employer can't do anything when you say something that makes the company look bad.

People seem to confuse the role of businesses and law.

Re: Fred Davis Bye Bye

I'm on record calling Davis a lousy pick in 2008, and I've been a frequent critic since then. Good riddance.
