Re: injuries
So were you lying then, or lying now, g1?
What kind of truth to expect from a ny giant: "I thought the penalties imposed were proper," John Mara, the New York Giants' owner and chair of the NFL Management Council, which imposed the penalties said Sunday. "What they did was in violation of the spirit of the salary cap. They attempted to take advantage of a one-year loophole, and quite frankly, I think they're lucky they didn't lose draft picks." |

Re: injuries
Going back to the point of this thread, bad news that Riley may be out. Let's hope it isn't serious. While I think his play has been uneven (and just not good in coverage), we don't have extra jack LBs lying around.
Also, a number of other injuries from the Seahawks game. Redskins notes: Perry Riley knee injury cause for concern - Washington Times! Worried about Clark's ankles -- so thin at safety to begin with.

Re: injuries
Obviously neither is good enough. Moses almost got KC killed when he came in the game.

Re: injuries
Agreed. Although I would have agreed with the original comment -- how could Moses or Long be worse than Polumbus . . . until I saw Moses go in for Polumbus against Seattle. He was horrifically bad; not even a speed bump, which seems impossible for a guy of his size. No idea about Long, but if Moses got the nod over Long, that's a real indictment (although I think Long is more of a guad than tackle -- so I could be wrong about that).

Re: injuries
It's important that Moses receives game experience.....he's a project.....you just know that he'll be far better in the future.

Re: injuries
I am really hoping Moses is not the second coming of Winston Justice. Even as a rookie, that was an embarrassment. He got yanked almost immediately (as he should have) so not sure it is a fair assessment. Hoping he just got stars in his eyes and will shake it off next time around.
