Either way that guy is gone for good by next year. Hopefully sooner.
How many times do we keep saying that until it comes true?

Can you honestly say Colt would have lost the game? Im not saying one would have had a better chance than the other but I just dont think with everything going on rite now that its fair to say he would have won or lost. Who knows? Wish we could have a do over and find out. Lol.
That is an impossible question. RG3, from a statistical stand point, is the guy you want at the helm out of our 3 quarter backs. That's without question, and he played damn good for his first game since the beginning of the season. The thing is, statistics don't mean everything in football. Morale, momentum, confidence, and leadership are all real and important things.

I'm a bit superstitious admittedly, and I believe in Karma to some degree or another. Having Colt McCoy play his heart out and lead us to two game wins back to back, the first time since 2012 mind you, and then say "hey man, thanks for leading us to get those wins, but go to hell kid, Robert's back." That's bad joo-joo. Say what you will about McCoy, but every player on the field that night in Dallas was running on all cylinders with him behind center.

Whether there's tension in the locker room or not, I can't tell. Only the players and the coach have a feel for that, and it's better for everyone that it stays that way. I just hope that if there is they resolve it quickly. I'm not sure about you guys but I could give a damn less who's behind center. I want to win, and I'm sick of not doing so. Let's get a good look at RG3, and I pray he performs and takes this loss and turns it into a series of wins, but if he can't deliver wins, we need to find out who can.

No joke. Portis was da bomb in pass pro.

As an aside, given the defensive melt-down in the second half, and the breakdowns in protection, Colt also loses the game. I don't think he puts 26 points up against that defense.

If the D doesn't step up big time in Dallas, we're all talking about how Colt had a delay penalty and took a sack when we were in field goal range to win it. Colt was good and I like the guy, but let's keep some perspective.

The main question for me coming into Minnesota was this: will RGIII play better than he did at Houston. Answer: yes, without a doubt. Too bad we didn't win it, but that's the key to the rest of this season. RGIII getting better, making strides, getting comfortable with the O and his receivers. He's played only TWO games this year. That's the problem.

After thinking about it (and halfway calming down from Sunday), Gruden is in a really tough spot.

He has to get players to go out and compete when there isn't much left to play for this year.

Coming out and expressing a lack of confidence in a coordinator and then asking players to buy into that coordinator's plan creates disfunction. He needs to back his coaches until he is in a position to change.

Quick question about the Vikes game. How come the 'skins didn't put DJax back for punt/kick off return to add a spark? He was absolutely dangerous when he'd return kicks for Philly. My mind kept going back to the Eagles/Giants game a few years back.

Probably want to save DJax for something really important. No sense getting him hurt, it's not like we're going somewhere. Besides, Roberts has looked good and secure and very un-Redskin special teams like, let's not mess with that.

Agreed. Roberts did have the 45 yd return. Even though it was a must win, the last thing we need is our biggest offensive weapon going down.

Yup, and if the D stepped up against the Vikes we're talking about RG3's triumphant return and how he energized the offense.

We have moved the ball all year we just need to get 7 more than we get three. That was the case early even in Minny. Gotta be able to score touchdowns when we get close. Hope that is a real focus going into the bye.
Edit: fourth in total yards! More than effin Denver and New England. We just dont score enough td's. Obviously the D stinks but we knew that.

3 TDs and 2 FGs should have been more than enough to win that game.

Absolutely correct, not trying to lay blame.
4 td's and 1 fg would have won the game though.
