Re: Around the nfl week 16
Wilson is a very good QB, but you don't need star receivers when you have that running game (which includes Wilson) and a defense that has allowed an average of 6.6 points per game in their last 5 wins.

Re: Around the nfl week 16
i say NO to lynch.
way too much of a distraction and dividing force. he pushes back against any obligation an NFL player has outside of the actual game itself. i get it to a degree, you are ultimately paid to play football and not be part of a horse n pony show ..... but that is a distraction and divisive. seems like some teammates love him and follow him like some locker room prophet standing up against the powers that be (media obligations, talking to a coach, visiting the white house, holding out ..) but this is the last locker room that could handle that additional "question authority" mentality. besides, we dont need to spend any extra cap on RB. plus the dude has extension for his fake "dreads". im sorry but i have it under good authority that one of the points of growing dreads is pride that it takes a long time and it is a commitment .. it is something earned, not something to be bought. the dude comes off as a fake to me. basically a bama.

Re: Around the nfl week 16
Yeah, Beastmode had been jawing with the Cards defense all night. If you watched after the 1st TD run, he basically carried the entire DLine on into the endzone and Arizona was I guess mad and embarressed so they started going at it. He had his helmet off, staring down the Cards sideline with his Deebo eye, yelling stuff. You dont want to piss that dude off, after that run was like eff it: Deez nutz!

Re: Around the nfl week 16
Per Shefter:
Jets owner Woody Johnson is preparing to hire former Texans and Redskins GM Charley Casserly as a consultant in the event the organization decides to make any changes, per league sources. The jobs of Jets head coach Rex Ryan and John Idzik both are very much in jeopardy and, should the Jets make any changes, Johnson would be ready to move forward with the football expertise and manpower he would need surrounding him.

Re: Around the nfl week 16
Why would anybody even THINK of getting Lynch, when we have Alfred Morris?

I heard the Ravens are on the bubble for making to the playoffs.
I really hope whatever teams that need to win to eliminate them from the playoffs, win. I love Ravens tears.

Re: Around the nfl week 16
Still don't think Denver's defense is good enough to win it all. They are 3rd in yardage allowed, but 12th in ppg allowed.

Re: Around the nfl week 16
Denver is plenty good enough to win the Super Bowl. You don't have to have an outstanding defense.

Re: Around the nfl week 16
He should be fine helping the Jets as a general advisor. But, yeah, I wouldn't want him as GM because he's been out too long.
