Re: Around the NFL Super Bowl Week
If Seattle was to let go of Lynch, he will come home to Oakland, CA

It's a meaningless fan award, not the official league award.

Re: Around the NFL Super Bowl Week
There's a reason they've been a consistently shitty team for years.

Sorry dude, I totally thought your post was pure sarcasm after reading the first paragraph. What would the better option have been, to flip her the bird while he mentioned her? Unfortunately, I can believe that McCarthy was willing to fire his special teams coach after 9 seasons. It's a business. And you're absolutely right McCarthy would rather fire someone than put himself on the chopping block. |

I still don't know why it took Tim Brown this long. All in all, that is a strong class.

Re: Around the NFL Super Bowl Week
Same reason it took Monk so long, always a logjam at WR.

Re: Around the NFL Super Bowl Week
looks like your right...
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Seahawks have offered Marshawn Lynch "a huge contract extension that would keep him in a Seahawks uniform for years to come." It's believed the deal would make Lynch the highest-paid running back in terms of annual average not named Adrian Peterson. It's a big swing of events after it's been rumored for the better part of a calendar year now that 2014 could be Lynch's final season in Seattle due to age, inflated salary, and edginess. Per RapSheet, the new deal would pay Lynch around $10 million next season. wow

Re: Around the NFL Super Bowl Week
Man that's a ton of loot for a back heading into his 10th season. Should be interesting to see how they structure it. He could easily hit the wall in another season or two.

Re: Around the NFL Super Bowl Week
I think it will basically be a one or two year deal. No way they are dumb enough to be stuck with a rb over 30 making 10 plus million.
