Looking like he signed a deal with the Jets unfortunately.

Re: Redskins 2015 Signings (and Re-Signings) Thread
$4M for a decent 2down NT sounds good to me. the key to free agency is basically to never EVER make a big money mistake, which is a lot easier if you're not handing out big money.
our NT is on a cheap 1 year prove it deal and can be cut at any time, paea is on a 4 year deal that will give us cap savings if he's cut at any time after his 1st season here. very low risk. big question is whether scot goes big balls and decides that the RGIII/JG friction isn't worth it (not necessarily personal friction, but what jay wants vs what rob is). safer play is to take a pass rusher at 5, but if the iggles want to trade bradford and the #20 pick+, or scot loves mariota... |

Redskins 2015 Signings (and Re-Signings) Thread

I dont think the Eagles are going to trade for Marcus. Wouldnt packaging picks along with Foles and his minuscule contract have been more tempting to teams than Picks plus Bradford and his two acl's and millions?? Im all for someone making us an offer for our pick but it makes no sense for the Eagles to be the team. |

1 year, 4 million for Knighton? Can't argue that.

Interested in seeing what a Hatcher / Knighton / Paea DL does for the likes of Keenan, Kerrigan, Amerson, Breeland
Side note: Pot Roast, Paella? I'm getting hungry

The #Redskins are signing CB Chris Culliver to a 4-year deal, source said. Another top corner off the board.

Love the Knighton signing. After all these years in the 3-4 we finally have a true run stuffing NT. Love what we're doing so far. Adding pieces and not over spending.

Some details on the Culliver deal:
Mike Jones retweeted Rand Getlin @Rand_Getlin 13m13 minutes ago Source: It's a four-year deal worth $32M for CB Chris Culliver and the #Redskins.

Re: Redskins 2015 Signings (and Re-Signings) Thread
Here's the deal with Culliver:
He just might be our best CB on the team right now. He had some great years here in SF (especially the SB year)He's had off field issues, the homophobe rant before SB, followed by a torn ACL and a hit and run on a bicyclist the following year. He had a horrible SB after having had a great season which I believe due to the comments he made about gays and media hammering him on SB week.. Last year it was so-so, I would say due to coming back from surgery. Maybe new surroundings, his second year coming back from injury he might rediscover himself. I say he might be better than Maxwell and Thurmond, he can defend and is a great tackler.

Re: Redskins 2015 Signings (and Re-Signings) Thread
Remember, he was coming back from ACL surgery. I've seen this guy shutdown many real good receivers. Hopefully he has matured and a change of scenery might benefit him. Remember the 49ers led the league with players having off field issues. And yes, the off field issues are concerning.
