Re: Week 14

Not surprised about Fisher. Goff looks lost, they get blown out yesterday and you piss off the most famous player in franchise history. What did surprise me about the Rams is how bad their defense has played.

On a side note, it looks like Greg Williams will be available this off season. I'd most certainly like to see him back in DC.

Good post on both areas.

It is no secret that Goff was forced on Fisher, not making excuses for Fisher but if Goff is a bust then no head coach will be able to hide it.

Gregg Williams will probably never come back here because according to him he was screwed over in getting the HC job here when we hired Zorn, if what he says is true. That being said even Gregg Williams would need at least two full seasons i think to get rid of all the trash and below starting-caliber players that we have on defense, although i would love to see him back here.

I do not like it when teams fire coaches in the middle of a season, makes me think of Dan Snyder, and also makes me remember that i can't think of a single time, maybe ever, when firing the coach during the season resulted in the team finishing on a winning streak, or going to the playoffs... But it would be ironic if the rams finish 7-9....

So cool how the Rams won that RG3 trade, it really paid off.

Re: Week 14

I didn't know Zachary Orr was former Redskins TE's kid. Pretty good player for being an undrafted FA.

Haha very well played. I would say it's a loser for both teams but idk the odds that McC would be our gm and Kirk would be where he is today if it hadn't turned out like it did. I like where we're at and we definitely aren't the loser in this deal. Those first round picks would've been nice but considering where we're at today I definitely ain't complaining.

Re: Week 14

The Rams looked like they most certainly won it when we played them in 2014. They beat the shit out of us at home and sent out all those drafted players for the coin toss. Another low point as Redskins fan. My how times have changed in just two years. What comes around goes around Mr Fisher.

Rams is an attractive job...young QB and RB. Got pieces on defense. New stadium, West Coast weather, LA....Id say Josh McDaniel or Kyle Shanny

Goff has had a late crappy start.
The team is a mess.
WhoTF would want that job?

The LA Rams job? There is only one coach who is enough of a celebrity, loves the limelight enough, is both young enough and experienced enough, is wacky enough, is a great enough leader, and successful enough to coach the Rams. That person is Jim Harbaugh! It is a match made in heaven.

I'm predicting that the Rams go after Jim Harbaugh and land him with the most lucrative HC contract in NFL history.

Many people predicting it. I don't think he leaves Michigan. Money does talk but he probably already pays his bills on time.
He has to have some objectives to the NFL after he had uber success in Sam Fran and still got run out of town. The same thing would happen in LA because ownership is not going to want a coach who is bigger than them or the team.
I agree with Chico - mcdaniels or young shanny.

NFL announces London match-ups for 2017 -- Baltimore Ravens-Jacksonville Jaguars, New Orleans Saints-Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings-Cleveland Browns and Arizona Cardinals-Los Angeles Rams

we avoid the garbage games next year.

How bad would it suck to be a west coast team that has to travel to London?
