I would've kept Shanny and fired Bruce it is clear there was a power struggle there. I would trust Mike's football IQ over Jay. Plus Mike was considered to be a disciplinarian like everyone wants leading the staff right now.

Mike McCarthy may be too tempting for them, he has a lot of ties to their FO.

Baker said recently he loves GW, U could always bring in a OC with Gregg. I'd love to have him but I wouldn't get my hopes up

I keep reading that we passed over on Wade Phillips but I was under the impression that he chose the Rams over the Redskins. Did the Redskins actually pass on him?

This 'only hire people you know' stuff is fucking idiotic to me. Honestly I don't understand it. I'm a hiring manager, I cast as wide a net and get the best possible resume I can, I don't care who they are. And I can't understand why it would be any different in football. I lot of people shat on Gus Bradley at the time he was available but his Chargers are currently 6th in points allowed, 8th in yards allowed, 6th in passing yards allowed, and 12th in rushing yards allowed.
