Re: Skins @ Eagles Week 1
I have never, in almost 40 years of rooting for this team, been so discouraged going into week one. Of all the lackluster teams we have had I have always managed to convince myself that we were going to surprise people. For the life of me I cannot muster that hope this time around. I can’t even believe we might win 6 games to tell you the truth. Terrible feeling about this season. Hey stranger things have happened in my lifetime. Maybe we get off to a hot start.

Idk man, our left side is obsolete and Case Keenum sucks. Im also super concerned about our ST. Is Reed going to play? If we are even competitive with Philly I will reconsider my outlook on the season to come,... |

Manusky might be the worst because our D actually has the personnel to be something. Even Gruden cant make Keenum behind no o line any worse. |

Re: Skins @ Eagles Week 1
Keenum by far was the most consistent and steady of the QB’s in the pre-season. I think he’s going to better than people think and keep Haskins on the bench a little longer.

I'm hoping one of them is the HC next year. Make your melancholy pay; bet the UNDER on the skins win total.

I'm just going to be completely honest with you. This team has no chance of being good with Jay Gruden as our head coach. I think we got enough talent on both sides of the ball to be good. We just don't have the scheme or the leadership at the very top.

I think this is a 6-10 or 7-9 team. What I’m excited about is that, after years of chasing over-paid, under-performing, FA who are here mostly to score a big paycheck, the team is finally trying to win through the draft. The good news is that we have young, fast and motivated rookies and young players with lots of potential. The bad news is that we’re a year or two from them adjusting to the NFL and reaching peak level. So don’t think so much about win / loss but more about how our young players a moving toward stardom. We finally may have a real, long-term franchise QB in over 20 years or more. We also ol need a new HC. Gruden isn’t cutting it and I’d often out-coached in games. Most HC get 4-5 seasons to prove they can get their team into the playoff picture. Gruden is on season 7. He’s predictable as hell in his play calling (hence bringing in O’Connell this year) and has the worst second half adjustment in the NFL. In other words if we aren’t winning at the half we will probably lose. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We need a whole new staff, and besides d-line none of our good young talent has ever played a down in the nfl. Lol. I want to believe we are doing it right, and are another draft away from putting something respectable together but with Snyder - Bruce - and this staff I am hesitant too believe it will be anytime in the near future..... |

Skins @ Eagles Week 1
My man Holtz is being promoted to the roster already, meaning Reed isn’t gonna play tomorrow.

Sucks for Reed. But I'm happy for JP Holtz, he blocks well and has shown he can make some catches too.

Re: Skins @ Eagles Week 1
Davis has a future, Colt doesn't. I just don't get the decision making on this team.
Rob Kelley and McCoy probably get invited to Gruden family reunions. |
