Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread

That didn't take long

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
Gotta be more to the story than what we're hearing. He finished the year on IR, maybe Ron thought he wasn't dedicated to the rehab or he wasn't taking it seriously or something. No reason to cut a guy on locker-room clearing out day otherwise.

It’s only right if Surtain goes to Miami

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
Youtube flippin' and I came across this video of Coach Ron mic'd up against the Panthers. I love the energy. I hope this year was the start of something special and he's the last coach Dan hires for a while.

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
In an ideal offseason, draft Mac Jones and Olave. Wouldn’t that be nice?

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
You mean draft Mac Jones in the 2nd round right?! I’ll lose my shit if we draft him at 19.

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
The problem with scouting Mac Jones is that it's hard to evaluate him when he's basically surrounded by All-Pro's at every position. It's hard to tell how good he's gonna be because we're not sure if his play is being elevated by everybody else or if he's elevating everybody else's play.

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
Likely that he's not responded to treatment and they can't see him recovering enough to be productive next season. Wondering if he got an injury settlement?

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
There was some chatter about him being in the doghouse for some reason early in the season and he only got to play when they had no other bodies available.... seemed to me Kaleke Hudson got more playing time in the second half upto the point where SDH got injured. It seemed odd at the time that they put him straight to IR when the injury was said to be minor and there were only 2 reg season games left..

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
We've already spent way too much time wondering about SDH. Honestly I forgot he was still on the team.
