Former employees allege that in addition to verbal harassment, Richardson engaged in improper acts. According to sources, on multiple occasions Richardson requested female employees to visit him during a workday in his suite inside Bank of America Stadium. The women would be escorted by Richardson’s assistant, who would then depart, leaving the owner alone with a junior employee. One former female employee recalls Richardson, who stands 6'3", arriving barefoot and asking for a foot massage. Says one such invitee: 'The first time, you thought it was an important meeting with the owner. You [then] realized it was never anything that couldn’t be discussed over the phone.' Others talk of Richardson giving back rubs that lingered too long or went too low down the spine. Richardson was also known for what multiple women call the 'seatbelt maneuver.' He would invite female employees out to lunch, and in keeping with his reputation as a self-styled gentleman, he would open the car door for his guests. Once they were seated, however, he would insist on fastening their seatbelt for them, reaching across their lap and brushing his hand across their breasts before putting the belt in the clasp." Unfortunately, unless the "emails" uncover something else, doesn't sound like Dan has been caught with anything close to this. |

Re: The Buttery Males Thread
I am actually surprised we haven't seen a petition to the NFL from fans demanding the publication of the WFT investigation

Re: The Buttery Males Thread
Considering he's not very popular with other owners or probably anyone in the league offices, if there was a stone cold lead pipe lock of a smoking gun to get rid of Snyder it would have been done by now. Dream on folks.

Re: The Buttery Males Thread
Definitely agreed...however, unless those cheerleaders come forward and say they were forced to pose and by whom that is somehow linked to Dan...nothing will come from that. Dan will just say that was all Bruce...or one of the others that have been fired, and he'll say he has corrected the problem.

Re: The Buttery Males Thread
It may sound like I'm joking, but people tend to forget that the team owners and the NFL are the same. Unless there is something completely blatant (like Richardson's harassing women in his organization), the owners as a group are not going to can another owner (see Bob Kraft).

Also by Bruce sending them it wouldn't implicate Snyder directly either.

Also, this is interesting:

Re: The Buttery Males Thread
I mean with our historically record low attendance this season it seems like the fans are doing their best to beat Dan the only way they can, through his wallet. We can’t control him selling the team, but if there was a fan base grass roots movement to stop coming to games and buying merch, maybe that would be the necessary step to get rid of Dan. Might have to play the long game, but hell, we’ve been in purgatory the last 2 years anyways, what’s wrong with a self imposed couple years of suffering for the greater good in the future. Nothing else has worked.

Re: The Buttery Males Thread
Heard it reported a couple of times that Snyder doesn't use email, he communicates directly by phone so I would think you are right. Whether they like him or not, he is and always has been a major embarassment to the brand. There is probably a lot of other dirt from all 32 teams in there as well that the NFL doesn't want open to public scrutiny, Gruden is a strange case of a very focused attack from someone.

But I don't think anything really big is coming out of this. Gruden must have pissed the wrong people off, and once this was leaked the league wasn't going to protect a coach at the detriment of its image. They wanted to end this mess real quick The story would be different with an owner. Envoyé de mon SHV48 en utilisant Tapatalk
