So it would be amazing to me that they do the same mistake 2 years in a row, let Bostic go and say "meeeh we'll just draft a guy and sign a couple of UDFA"...

JP Finlay Retweeted
Jeremy Fowler @JFowlerESPN · 3m Washington Commanders are expected to sign back WR Cam Sims, per source. That's in the works. |

I dont think we have the cap or roster need to add an impact secondary FA. Im talking adding a starter secondary player ... not depth. Most of the guys you listed we either depth or we had a roster need for a starter. We dont have the cap to add an impact guy in the secondary, any cap needs to go filling out our roster depth .. we have about 40 guys under contract who will make the 53, we have a lot of depth guys to add. |

They can always make cap room, but if you end up being correct - that the starting secondary is already inked, then at least they will have continuity, which was a big problem to start the season last year.

Re: Commanders Free Agency Tamper Window
I want to see Cam Sims with a real QB, I think if he was on another team with his growth the last 2 years…he could be a 50+ 6-7 TD guy out of a outside #2WR. He can get up for balls

They really love Sims but never throw him the damn ball.

Agreed. If an impact FS is a late cut and we can add him, IM all for that.

Re: Commanders Free Agency Tamper Window
I would have thought the game he had against Pittsburgh would have garnered more opportunities in the offence and interest from other teams. I like him as a WR 4/5 and we need a big endzone target alongside LT. Does it mean they don't intend to draft a WR I wonder. They have lots of other holes to fill and only 3 picks in the top 5 rounds.

Now, I imagine that Wagner doesn't particularly want to come here. So, we need to offer him significantly more money than any other team. Take your best shot, RR! Edit: From Cowboy Country website 3/14/22: FRISCO - The Dallas Cowboys are involved in what a source terms "exploratory'' talks with just-cut Seattle Seahawks franchise icon linebacker Bobby Wagner. Wagner, who will be 32 in June, has a connection with Dallas defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, who once held the same role in Seattle. And Quinn, we're told, would be central to Wagner's decision to come to the Cowboys for less money than he might get elsewhere. Don't let this happen! |

Re: Commanders Free Agency Tamper Window
I see this as an exception to the rule, especially when you consider the typically low quality of the "two or three players" we have signed in FA in the past. Also, I doubt that RR has two or three years left to build a winner before he is fired by Mrs. Snyder.
