Re: Around the league 2022 Camp edition
Roquan Smith officially requests a trade. He is pissed and wants out asap.
https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...ears/#comments Would probably take a 1st rounder. He would instantly improve our lbs bigtime. |

I doubt we make a move also, but you never know. He is a dude, and Rivera would love to add a new stud lb to this team. It will be interesting to see where he lands.

Re: Around the league 2022 Camp edition
How about R.Smith straight up for J.Davis and D.Payne? Would you go for that?

Re: Around the league 2022 Camp edition
We didnt have a top 5 pick with Heineke playing a more difficult schedule. Even if things "Dont work out" we wont be a top 5 worst team in the league. So if we had to give up a first rounder for a 25 year old all pro at the position we are weakest at, if he is willing to resign I am not against it

Re: Around the league 2022 Camp edition
More importantly: would they give out a 1st ? My answer is clearly no. LB has been an obvious huge need from the start of the offseason, and they didn't address it until this week, bringing in a low profile guy. They are not going to suddenly completely change their minds and go big on a LB IMO.

Re: Around the league 2022 Camp edition
To Smith is a badass but he fired his agent and wants to be the highest paid LB in the league. At the LB position and our upcoming contracts, I’d pass…

LOL. New Broncos owner is clearly a football guy. Thanks Commissioner Goodle. Which begs the question - is it better to have an owner that loves football or an owner that bought the franchise as an investment opportunity and has clearly never watched pro football before?

Re: Around the league 2022 Camp edition
Can't believe that the Broncos situation could not get resolved the way that Pat Bowlen wanted it to. All his kids fighting over who should own the team and what not. I guess all that cash can get passed around to all of his kids. 4.6 billion dollars is a lot of damn money.
