Also, there are teams with poor quality backups. If one of them has a starter go down, they are toast. Heinicke could help one of them. So, he has potential trade value.

But there is no reason to trade him, even if Sam Howell were to pass him on the depth chart. I just don't understand why whenever we establish solid depth at a position someone on this site wants to trade away our advantage.

Good point. It's not that I want to trade him, just that it would be one scenario where Howell would become our 2. And then it became a discussion about how tradable he is.
Neither (promoting Howell/trading Taylor) need to be rushed. But if it became obvious for everybody in the building that Howell was better than Heinicke, I wouldn't be against getting some value back while we can.

Wentz isnt lasting a full season imo. Heinike last year aside ... our starters never finish the season.

I just assume Heinike will take more snaps then Wentz come end of season.

Wentz had that ACL in 2017, and a back problem in 2018, other than that I don't see a glaring injury history. Seems he's been fairly durable.

North-West side of Fed Ex ... I think its angry Jalen Hurts escaped injury last year.
