That's weak - you trying to blame the manufacturer. The organization accepted the merchandise and put it out for sale, didn't they? So, from an internal management point of view, somebody screwed up and the manager responsible for that department also screwed up for not checking the merchandize for any problems before the gates opened. What about the old management maxim of "Inspect don't expect"? BTW, does the organization even have any first line managers?

I know the mugs are a small matter but they are yet another symptom of a larger disease which is the ongoing failure of Snyder's organization to provide a first class fan experience.

I honestly don't care either way. We got the W, that's all I care about and that more than anything will put butts in the seats.

Re: Jags Postgame

Pros: Samuel and Gibson in that Deebo role is exactly what our offense needed

Normally we would have lost that game today, Wentz is the first QB I've seen us have since Brad Johnson who would recover from back to back interceptions

Dotson has hands

Allen and Payne are the best DT duo when not trying to fight each other

Cons

Fuller and Jackson got burned a lot today

LBs were non existent today don't know if it's a good or bad thing because they didn't really go after the TE like that

Injury to Mathis

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

Not only does Dotson have hands but his ability to track the ball is pretty special. Reminds me of Santana Moss or DeSean Jackson in that way. Just get the ball near them and chances are they will come down with it.

I was thinking that too, his ball tracking ability is amazing. I always thought of Terry McLaurin like Marvin Harrison type

Dotson has the same explosive side but that catch radius of his is ridiculous for someone who is 5'11"

Re: Jags Postgame

Fuller had a series of bone headed penalties that basically helped the Jags drive down the field. I believe he had a PI and then later had an illegal contact, both may have been on 3rd downs.

The illegal contact penalty was a nit-picking call.

True. But the PI was just so stupid from his part. If he had played the ball, he would probably have been able to pick it off.

Re: Jags Postgame

Only got to watch the 4th Q bc of family obligations. Watched the 10 min highlight reel on youtube but its not the same as on your TV dvr'ing and rewinding plays etc

Wentz was inaccurate at some points but I thought he made the right decisions on where to go with the ball. Happy to see the ball came out more times than not once he planted his back foot (or soon enough after). He was a half second late on some throws. Second or so late on the int on pass intended for Dotson.

O Line - 1 sack given up; pretty solid pass pro and push on runs

3rd D Conv - jags were 3/17, we were 7/10

D - 383 yards given up, 132 run yards on 18 carries, Trevor was inaccurate and left some plays out there as well. No turnovers til the forced throw at the end.

Re: Jags Postgame

Dotson and McLaurin are going to be so fun to watch all year, if Wentz stays healthy.

Re: Jags Postgame

@Commanders
rookie WR
@JahanDotson
recorded the game-winning TD reception with 1:46 remaining in Week 1 & joined Ernest Wilford (Week 1, 2004) as the only rookies with a game-winning TD catch in the final 2 minutes of regulation or in OT of their
@NFL
debut since 1970.

Re: Jags Postgame

Wentz had a 68 Grade yesterday (would have been 85 plus without the INTS)

Highest graded players on Offense
Rogers = 90
Gibson = 85
Samuel = 75
Cosmi = 74

Defense

Forrest = 91
Payne = 77
Sweat = 71
Allen = 70
