Raiders release Geno Smith:
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...-barring-trade QB offseason activity is going to be wild this year. No intrigue this year with who Las Vegas takes #1.

Ravens get Maxx Crosby:
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...avens-two-1sts Crosby is a stud but 2 1st rd picks is a lot to give up too much imo. Pretty surprised Baltimore did this honestly as they must have really wanted him.

Re: 2026 NFL Free Agency Thread
Monday is the when tampering window opens and free agency starts 4pm Wednesday.
How many free agents do we sign early on? I expect at least one first tier on offense and one on defense. AP has to spend that money. |

Such a big year for AP and the offseason. Interested to see which direction he goes to in FA. Want lots of defense. Signing Hendrickson and Edmunds would be a great start.

I just can't shake the feeling that AP is going to fuck it up. The one group we didn't think needed to be touched was the OL but we've already lost Biadasz and I don't think Chris Paul will be back which worries me. Maybe its just too many years of hurt? Gonna be interesting. |

Re: 2026 NFL Free Agency Thread
I hope we break the bank to get Linderbaum. A pro-bowl caliber, and durable C (only missed two games for the Ravens), is arguably the second most important position on offense behind QB. Second move I’d make is extending Tunsil. We need to shore up our O-line. With Paul likely gone, LG also becomes a need.

Re: 2026 NFL Free Agency Thread
When we talk about holes, I think we need to be mindful that a) we only have some holes in the starting line ups and b) a few positions with little real depth. But what we definitely have is room for improvement at a number of positions, where current starters will be adequate, if not good depth. What we need is 5 or 6 starters from FA, giving us options in the draft. If we can get 6-10 proper starters out of both, we'll be better next year. What we don't want to do is chase 15-20 starters and be cash strapped for years, or the reverse, only find 3-5 new good starters and be stuck with an average roster again.

Re: 2026 NFL Free Agency Thread
I expect us to use at least 70-80% of available cap space, during this free agency period. Just because Jayden can get that extension next year; shouldn’t limit us.

Re: 2026 NFL Free Agency Thread
I think people need to give AP the benefit of the doubt last year. Injuries especially to JD5 were this team's downfall more than anything. AP has not been perfect but quite solid and had this team 1 game from the Super Bowl his 1st year. A defensive upgrade and a consistently healthy team is what this team needs more than anything.

Re: 2026 NFL Free Agency Thread
Tunsil is about to be the highest paid offensive lineman in NFL history, they are already paying Cosmi $17 million. I read if Washington pays Linderbaum they will have by far the most cap space committed to the OL in the league. With a defense this bad that is not going to happen.
But I share the concern, I have no idea what they are doing with the OL. They tried Coleman at LG and they really wanted it to work, he was outplayed by a guy they no longer even want. We already know Alegretti sucks and he is slated to be the starting center. |
