Glad you aren't lead analyst of the Warpath -- from your link:

Neild is a run-stopping defensive tackle who could contribute in a defensive line rotation at the next level. He is stout with a strong lower half and is very difficult to move out of running lanes. He also has very active hands to keep blockers from getting inside and flashes the lateral range to make plays outside of the tackle box. However, he lacks explosion off the line and is very raw as a pass rusher. Neild possesses natural leverage and is an asset against the run and he will likely be a middle round pick.

You also saw the part where they said he was supposed to be a middle round pick?

I am betting the "not" was a word error as everything else about their profile is prototypical NT stuff and they give NO reason as to why he couldn't play NT.

When I first saw pictures of him I channeled my inner Jamie Dukes and said "oh no, another white street kid." However he does have a reputation as a very hard worker and at the very least you see it in his body (no homo). Hes much more muscular then other 320 pounders you see.

Fast Forward to 2:52 where he takes on a double team to stop his future teammate

Re: 2011 NFL Draft: Rounds 4-7

Just going to throw this out there. Obvioulsy Kerrigan, Jenkins, and Hankerson make the team.

I think that Neild, Hurt, Robinson, Royster, and Helu+ make the team.

I don't feel to good about Paul and Gomes, and Thompson. Then again I didn't feel good about Austin and Horton so what do I know?

I loved how he reached out from under the pile and grabbed the leg and held on!

Re: 2011 NFL Draft: Rounds 4-7

I like this draft. Passing on Gabbert might haunt us but the did land the player they wanted in the first and did a good job of adding additional picks throughout the draft.

The top 3 picks were perfect IMO. We became a better football team. Knowing Shanny, at least 1 of the 2 RBs will be a surprise. Looking at the Wrs we drafted it seems like we are going to air it out next year ( who is throwing i do not know). They are all home run threats and we already have Armstrong who has an insane YPC. We are going deep often next year.

If we get some depth / special teamers out of the rest of the picks, I think we did good. We actually addressed needs this year. Outside LB and NT makes our D sooooo much better. If WR and RB is taken care off too, we did alright.

Re: 2011 NFL Draft: Rounds 4-7

Think I am with you on that Dirt. If that is the result (8 new players out of 12 picks), I am more than okay with that. You figure Jenkins, Kerrigan and Hankerson are probable starters.

I wouldn't be suprised if Nield ends up as a starting NT by the end of the year.

If we get 5 starters out fo this, that would be a damn good draft.

Yeah, he made the play while double teamed. granted the RB didn't make a good cut but Nield took advantage fo the opportunity and hadn't been driven off the line.
